Can anyone explain why UFC lists the Vandera/Murzakano fight at light HW but here it's HW? Vandera clocked in at 265 two months ago, same for Murz at 205.  ***?

hes small so probably yeah. Like I said earlier, vanderaa will probably weight 50-60 lbs more than him; I think vanderaa cuts weight

but this actually shouldn't be as bad as it sounds because almost everyone Azamat has fought has been bigger than him in terms of reach, height, and/or weight so moving up really isn't a challenge for him. also helps that vanderaa is on the lower end of the heavyweight ladder

Ok here’s some wild news for everybody; Bryan barberena is gonna fight this week against dwcs signee darian weeks. On 5 days notice lol.

It could be like Izzy vs Jan or Loopy vs Carolina for recent example where the bigger fighter beat the 'better fighter just because of size', Vandera is more then 265lb and Azamat fight at 205lb so at heaviest, he'll be 220lb-225lb at peak fitness, Vandaraa will have a 40lb weight advantage minumun, Fun fact, percentage wise for estimated weight, that more then the example i listed earlier, Vanderaa should be approximately 16% or more heavier, Jan was 10% heaiver, and Carlina was like 12% heavier

The one thing I like for Azamat, is that he's a stand-up fighter, And I think Vandaraa is a kickboxer also, A 16% weight advantage don't matter as much with a stand-up fight, It be smart for Vandaraa to use his weight for a advantage, I wouldn't be surprise if that happen though

I say the same thing I said for Loppy fighting Carolina, I think it dumb for Azamat to take this fight, Fans don't care that you fighting people bigger then you, But they should, It so much harder to do so, It a high risk, low reward fight, If you beat Jared Vanderaa, Fan won't care because it Jared Vanderaa, But if you lose to Jared Vanderaa, its a bad look and a hype killer and they're a high liklyhood of you lossing to Vandaraa just for size alone

I agree kinda stupid to take the fight m, but he’s living up to his nickname of “the professional”. Azamat has experience fighting people much bigger than him; he fought guto inocente in an open weight tournament so I assume guto massively outweighed him. He’s also gonna be so fast against the much slower heavyweight

He was even able to take guto down; vanderaa has a 20% tdd so he could potentially grapple although I think it would be stupid for him to do so
