his opponents as a pro are a combined 18-16-2 lol thats pretty ****** comp. I could name many other guys who are 5-0 fighting better competition. Yeah barberena has 0 ground game but who's gonna say weeks can attack grappling for three rounds on 5 days notice? Hes a finisher so who knows how his cardio holds up (amateur fights dont count because of 3 minute rounds). Plus hes never fought a striker as credentialed as barberena

yeah but just look at his experience alone. Barberena reminds me of smolka in that he cant beat anyone good but loses to good guys (not including Witt)

I mean his striking is better than anyone weeks has faced thus far. Hes got a positive striking differential so I dont know where this notion of getting hit as much as he puts out comes from.

Weeks isn't a can crusher. He fought some of the best amateur prospects in IMMAF. Surprised they signed him this early but he's legit.

yeah but amateur prospect and legit fighter is a very different things. Just because someone has potential doesn't mean they're legit yet. And like I said, amateur is very different from fighting professionals; yeah, it helps with experience and helping develop your skill set, but you're not fighting professional fighters

Amateurs is not the professional game of course I agree with that but to say he's a can crusher which alludes to the fact he hasn't been tested is wrong. Has he been tested as much as an LFA champ? Nah but he's gotten in there with fighters at his skill level and experienced losses and adversity which can crushers have not. I personally picked him, thought Bam Bam looked real rough last time out.
