Unfortunately there is no telling if that will be the case, If sean's presence does have an effect on Allen it won't be good at all considering it's a fight and he has alot more to worry about.

I don't see your point, lol and idk where you got that info from because Brad and Groenhart have never fought. He fought FERNANDO GROENHART 🤣🤣 Also , are you trying to downplay Rafael because he has 200 Amateur Muay Thai bouts? Lmfao. He's also the head couch for Muay Thai at TMT. Also , out of all those fights he's been finished not even 5 times bud. Whether it was KB or MT. Dude is a monster. Another thing.. he's only 28 , dude is young and hungry and I think he picks Brad apart. Especially those body and leg kicks 🤧

Exactly. The way I see it, putting myself in Allen’s shoes: I’m supposed to face a top 15 guy and now I’m facing the training partner of the only guy to beat me in the ufc; a guy who I strongly dislike and have been begging to fight again since that loss, will now be in my opponents corner, less than 20 feet away from me at all times.

Again, I could be reading into the situation too much and also relating it to how I would react, but I feel like I would be somewhat thrown off. Also it’s Sean Strickland, not the most stable person in the world so maybe he starts chirping allen during the fight (something Curtis has said Sean will do while hes cornering him)

I think everyone is overthinking Allen Vs. Curtis. Allen is going to win **** the odds **** everything else. Skill for Skill Allen is better everywhere. If Curtis TKO's simple and at that point Allen would need to be cut.

Terrible take, why would allen get cut for a loss? If Curtis ko’ed hawes and allen back to back then it just proves he’s better than everyone else thought. You are right that I’m reading into it too much, but I think my point about Sean is still valid. How would you react if a guy you hate is gonna be yelling 20 feet away from you the entire fight?

Allen could get KO'd in the first 20 seconds and I bet Dana wouldn't even think about cutting him lol. But I get what you're saying. Basically saying that it would be a very bad look if he got KOd but I don't agree. It happens , it's MMA.

Yeah I was saying that losing to Curtis isn't good what or ever. Kenny Robertson was on a 3 fight skid before Curtis bout and now is on a 4 fight losing streak. (Plus Kenny is 37 years of age) Jarome Hatch on a 3 fight skid and is 34 years of age. Juan Ramon is on a win one lose one streak, I could go on and on. I'm just stick of MMA fans (Not you guys btw) sucking off fighters who get these so called amazing TKO's in their debut. His not good never will be but I see both causals and cappers I know saying Curtis is line and the line is wide which I strongly disagree with. If Allen was a -800 or more yes that is worrying coz that Islam, Khabib, GSP odds.

I agree 100%. I'm not sold on Chris and probably won't be unless for say maybe he does KO Allen , which won't happen. If he tries to be the aggressor , that's easier access for a takedown for Brendan. He's going to have to be very shot selective if he wants to avoid any type of grappling because one false move can put Brendan on top and that's the fight. But I can also see Allen keeping the distance and popping his jabs out and going to a decision.

I cant really argue with that logic; I agree that Curtis's level of competition is his weakest point, but I still think he is a skilled fighter. Im also jumping on the line because I dont think he should be this big of a dog after what he did to Phil hawes just a few weeks ago

I mean Phil isn't all that great lmao. His gas tank is very minimal and the way he was pressuring Chris with his guard down , was just asking to get bombed and Chris took advantage of that. Allen would embarrass Hawes.

I think his gas tank has improved a ton tho. He looked phenomenal against Kyle daukaus right before that fight. Its more his chin thats sus, the gas tank is improving. Lets not forget that he would likely be booked to fight a top 15 had he beaten Curtis

Yeah I already have a lot of underdogs on this card as it is, and I know that on average only like 3-4 dogs hit per card, if that. Obviously there are exceptions
