And like true scum, he calls out Dustin for being dirty. If Dustin was dirty, Khabib the Eagle would have called him out on it when he donated. You can't trust what Conor says.

Conor McGregor, TKO, R1
I actually like this trilogy, even tho Poirier deserved to fight for the belt. But hey, he choose the money fight, and it's still an interesting and meaningfull one : they both KOd each other, and the last fight was fun and back and forth until the finish. Poirier of course proved he's the better overall fighter of the two, but let's not pretend like McGregor isn't a lethal strikier, very capable of finishing everyone inside one round when he's focused. Even in the rematch, he landed a couple of bombs that really rocked Poirier, to win the back and forth first round. The potential scenario here will be the same as almost every matchup involving McGregor. Conor is by far the more dangerous of the 2 in the first minutes of the fight, let's say 5 to 8 minutes, then his chances of winning are very slim. But an interesting factor here may be the mental aspect of the fight. I think McGregor feels humiliated by the last fight, and rightly so, and he will probably do EVERYTHING in his power to regain respect and a possible title shot. He looks angry as hell right now, no more nice guy and all, and honestly I expect him to take this seriously and spent the best fight camp of his life. He always does his homeworks (he adapted very well in the Nate Diaz rematch, adding leg kicks and decent cardio management to his arsenal) and I actually like his chances in this trilogy. Poirier is obviously a great fighter and if he can survive the first 2 rounds, he will likely TKO Conor again and send him to retirement (or to a bare knuckle boxing fight vs Diego Sanchez, or to a Nate Diaz trilogy for the fancy haute joillerie BMF purple Emeraude belt, or to raping french girls in a Corsica yacht), but I feel Conor realizes it's his last chance to compete at an elite level, to claim a title shot vs Chandler or Oliveira, and prove he's an all time great despite his terrible behaviour. Anyway, may the best man win, I'm sure it will be a great short fight between this two warriors. Have a good day everybody !
Burns vs. Thompson
Stephen Thompson, DEC
Very interesting. Not sure who to pick here, as Burns can KO Thompson with one punch, and obviously has the advantage on the ground, IF he can drag the fight to the ground. But Thompson is ageless and seems better than ever right now, he might just survive a few scares and outpoint him for 3 exciting rounds to reclaim the next shot at the belt, since Covington is still inactive.
Tuivasa vs. Hardy
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R2
Perfect matchup for Tuivasa. He's not a top 10 heavyweight and probably never will be, but he can still beat all the Greg Hardy's of the world with flying knees and elbows !
