@ModestMan

It's gotten a little bit better since how many fell off Nov-Jan, I think we can count on 11 or 12.

Holtzman vs. Gamrot
Mateusz Gamrot, DEC
Hard to say who has better striking but the better pace and much better wrestling for gamrot. Most likely grind out UD. Maybe he will finish him with a submission but I don't see him KOing holtzman even after his recent KO loss.

My instinct is to bet the farm against Mike Perry here. Anyone got any concerns?

Anyone that can lose to Dalby can lose to Perry is my take, just look at Cowboy Oliveira.

Daniel should have all the tools to pick Mike apart, but he nearly got finished by Dwight Grant so I would steer away from the fight really.

Vettori, Unanimous decision

Vettori's losses have all been by way of decision, but I'm expecting him to grind out a victory here against Till. He has the grappling and striking to do so. However, if worse comes to worst, Vettori could potentially KO Till.

Till has lost only 3 times, but these losses say a lot about his game: he was submitted by Woodley, knocked out by Masvidal and just dropped a decision against Whittaker. Every time he has encountered a top-5 fighter, he lost the match. If he cannot win this one (like I think he won't), he should no longer be in the top 10.

Rodriguez isn't value at -180, implied probability is about right/ maybe a bit generous there (64. whatever %).

I'll grant that Perry isn't very likely to be in a good place right now, but the fact remains he's faced and beaten a lot better competition than Rodriguez has. Everybody Perry has lost to Rodriguez would have too. Well, with the exception of means which is in the books. He's lost once by sub to cerrone's best trick and once by stoppage to Geoff Neil. And it is not hard to get KTFO by Neil. Dude's a piston.

Perry is better in space, whether he can make the standup happen there or Rodriguez picks  him apart from the outside is anyone's guess. Probably Rodriguez gets his way. Rodriguez should win on the back of his jab and distance management ( Perry's sucks) so I'm picking him. He's got a mean chin, too. But he does like to plant and bang, which Perry also likes to do, and that might work out well or it might not. Perry does hit very hard.

Dog or pass fight IMO. Probably worth adding to an accumulator, might be some value on Rodriguez by sub.

Daniel Rodriguez should win as long as Mike Perry training with his Misso and being  a ******.  Perry forget how to threw a proper punch and he got outboxed my Mickey Gall because somehow he lost all his skills.  Fish rat, You breakdown is of the old Perry who outbox Vicente Luque. Mike Perry from before 2020 would be a -200 favourite

When I fade a guy, and win money against them at even or underdog odds, it tends to stick in my brain longer than it should. Like I cracked some code. I try to go back to that well again and again. I was all over Means beating Perry, and that could be swaying me too much. But it seems like Mike Perry is using UFC as a paid hobby. Even if he manages to make weight this time, I doubt his girlfriend is going over gameplans with him. Any coaches in the gym are probably just fitness coaches.

Rodriguez isn't a world beater, but he does strike me as a solid midlevel guy who belongs in the UFC. Has the basic tools, hits hard. Mike Perry overall probably has more upside, but he just doesn't seem like he's in a place to step up and get better. Plus his face mashes up after the opening jabs these days. Nose is busted, eyes swell shut.

Makdessi vs. Bahamondes
Ignacio Bahamondes, DEC
I can only go by the tape I've seen and makdessi fights pretty much the same fights in all of the ones I've seen, he point fights with kickboxing and the occasional clinch, and wins decisions when the opponent plays into it and loses them when the opponent pressures him. Baha is so much bigger and longer I don't think this style works out well for him. I don't think baha will be a world beater, but this should be a good debut for him with the styles. I'm prepared to fade baha in the future though, I find him a bit low fight iq, if you watch his last ko the dude he fought was basically asking for it the entire round and it took him till the end to realize that kick was there all day. But if these styles collide as I imagine he should be able to win a decision, I don't trust him to finish mak I've seen make eat some big shots in the tape and be fine, and his point fighting style will probably be defensive for the KO kicks. I know he's been KOed a few times but against good competition and not lately.

Alvey vs. Marquez
Julian Marquez, TKO, R2
terrible match up for Sam, he will be finished in the first 2

Perry vs. Rodriguez
Daniel Rodriguez, TKO, R1
Mike Perry is a bum

Kasanganay vs. Palatnikov

I will happily fade Kasanganay purely for Sasha's last performance alone

Well, Till is out and Holland is gunning dor the replacement spot against Vettori.

Don't see Marvin turning it down as he matches up quite well with Kevin, but he could hold out for a fight with Brunson in hopes of pushing himself into a title fight sooner rather than later.

Darren Till pulls outta his 2nd main event within 5 months of each other... Not gunna label him as pull out merchant but **** we are like 10 days out and hes pulling out of yet another fight. I wonder what they upgrade to the main event spot , seems like Arnold Allen vs Sodiq Yusuff is the obvious choice but i think Nina Ansaroff vs Mackenzie Dern is a decent shout to become the main event, both highly ranked strawweights.

After Holland's last performance, I do not believe he deserves to fight Vettori and it honestly doesn't interest me, that's really too bad Till is out. Brunson didn't suffer any damage, hell, I hope he gets offered the fight.

i think allen having team tristar behind him should make the difference here.

Ansaroff vs. Dern
Mackenzie Dern, SUB, R2
i never pick against dern plus she dug really deep to snatch victory in her last fight. i dont think ansaroff will give her the second loss in her career.
