Joseph Benavidez, DEC
I usually pick dogs. I always pick the dog when I hate the favorite. Deiveson Figueiredo has the easiest trip through flyweight I've almost ever seen, losing his toughest match up: Jussier Formiga. I know he caught Benavidez, but he just doesn't deserve to reign alongside Cejudo and Demetrious. Benavidez arguably doesn't either, but he's the most deserving flyweight we have. As far as actual reasons, I think Benavidez is better literally everywhere except for defense, and if he was fighting any other active fighter he'd be the favorite. Sucks that all Figeuiredo needs is one moment to win.
Diakiese vs. Fiziev
Rafael Fiziev, DEC
Damn near 300 amateur muay thai bouts alongside a 29-4 pro muay thai record in Thailand makes me think that despite the Mustafaev loss, that he has the durability to regain lost ground. I'll take Diakese in round 1 for sure, but I think Fiziev will actually wear on him into the later rounds. Diakiese, despite all that fast twitch muscle fiber has atrocious TD defence, so Fiziev also has that in his back pocket.
Lipski vs. Carolina
Luana Carolina, DEC
Double the output and almost double the striking accuracy. Competition level has been higher for Lipski, and I actually expect her to lead the distance exchanges despite giving up a few inches in reach. But Luana has a good ground game which would appear to be Lipski's kryptonite. I'm actually moderately excited for this fight.
Pantoja vs. Askarov
Alexandre Pantoja, DEC
I kind of want to go with the dog on this one, but Askar Askarov's performance against Tim Elliott was questionable at best. He did great against Moreno, who in my eyes is a potential future champion. Pantoja beat a different Moreno than the one we see now, that's just a fact. So you can't compare the two fights very easily. Askar's TD are usually decent before he got into the UFC and in his Moreno fight, maybe we can just chalk it up to Tim Elliott being weird as F. Not sure on this one, but definitely a decision.
Ibragimov vs. Dolidze
Roman Dolidze, TKO, R1
Well this is just depressing. At least Dolidze has finishing ability and the slightly better opponents under his belt. Hoping for a quick finish.
Dawson vs. Narimani
Grant Dawson, SUB, R2
Rear naked choke. Round two. Don't have to be a prophet to figure this one out.
Alvarez vs. Duffy
Joel Alvarez, SUB, R2
Reza Madadi, Mitch Clarke, Ivan Jorge, Jake Lindsey = trash, decent, trash, mega trash. That plus a lay off makes me think Joe Duffy is going down here to the slick ground artist and on his way out of the UFC. Jeol Alvarez will never crack the top ten unless he makes some serious changes, but he can crack Joe Duffy. Snap down city darce for the finish, T-ferg style. Well not t-ferg style because nobody has t-ferg style.
Johns vs. Jackson
Brett Johns, DEC
Odds are wrong. Tap is wrong. I've had one every card and I'll take the free money. How does losing to Aljamain and Munhoz make you the underdog to someone who lost to Ricky Simon. Furthermore, after watching tape this is all the more blatant win for Johns as his chin holds up well and his workrate goes up up up up up. Also, Tony Gravely is a better fighter than Jackson just saying.
Gordon vs. Albazi
Amir Albazi, DEC
Albazi has enough ground defense to cancel out Gordon's TD and neck attacks. Should be a fun back and forth, either sub or decision win for Albazi.
Ramos vs. Tsarukyan
Davi Ramos, SUB, R3
Well they both lost to Machachev, and no shame there, but Ramon fought a much better Machachev. I also like Ramos' wins way more. Quinonez, Gunther, Hein, and especially Hubbard. Austin Hubbard is lowkey talented. Tsarukyan on the other hand just doesn't have impressive wins to me. I love me some underdogs, let's say Davi Ramos takes out Tsarukyan via channeling Islam Machachev for a grinding finish by RNC.
Spivak vs. Felipe
Sergey Spivak, DEC
Thanks for being the first fight of the night. Unranked Heavyweight is worse than WMMA. Spivak via takedown and laying.

Kelvin Gastelum, DEC
No comment. Excited for this fight, IMO could be it's own main event if both fighters weren't coming off of losses.

Joe Duffy, DEC
Big questions over Duffy, lack of activity and, it seems, motivation as he has talked retirement. Duffy of a few years back handles Alvarez easy. I'll stick with Duffy but will pa3a
Gordon vs. Albazi
Malcolm Gordon, DEC
I think Gordon has fought and beaten the better competition, I remember being impressed with his win over Sherbatov. Plus I just found out he has former Glory Kickboxing World Champion Bazooka Joe Valtellini as his coach!!
Ramos vs. Tsarukyan
Davi Ramos, SUB, R1
Should be a lotta great scrambles. That willingness to engage in grappling may get Tsarukyan caught.
Spivak vs. Felipe
Sergey Spivak, SUB, R2
Classic Heavyweight sloppy brawl!!! Either Felipe gets a quick TKO or Spivak out grapples him. 50/50, I'll go with UFC experience and activity.

Deiveson Figueiredo, TKO, R1
Benavidez is coming across as a sore loser and making excuses in his recent interviews. Blaming Figueriedo for the Headbutt when I think everyone knows Benavidez is always running in face 1st!!! He also spoke about suffering dizziness and depression after the fight, classic concussion symptoms. Not good. Let's hope Figgy makes the weight, doesn't drain himself doing so, oh and also the issues with the Rona!! The title seems to be his if he handles the weight cut
Hermansson vs. Gastelum
Jack Hermansson, DEC
Do we really trust Kelvin to have been training and sticking to a diet during the lockdown???!!!!! I don't know! He could come out and crack Jack with a clean 1,2 early. If not, Hermansonn should be able to outwork and grind out a decision
Lipski vs. Carolina
Luana Carolina, DEC
Who knows??????????
Pantoja vs. Askarov
Askar Askarov, DEC
This could be fight of the night. Actually there is still a good chance that this fight doesn't happen and 1 of these guys is fighting for the title instead. Pantoja is officially back up for Figueriedo incase he misses weight, here's hoping that doesn't happen!!! Both of these guys are evenly matched, I'd give Pantoja the striking edge, Askarov grappling but it's close either way. I expect a close decision, I also expect whoever loses to think they were robbed!!!
Ibragimov vs. Dolidze
Khadis Ibragimov, SUB, R1
Man, Ibragimov has been a let down in the UFC! I didn't expect him to be a champion but I didn't think he'd be losing to Ed Herman!!?!!! This is his last chance to dance! A lotta confidence in Dolidze, a guy with 6 fights against no one of note, I think 2 were 0-0, also he's been out for 2 years!!! I'm gonna take Ibragimov.

Joe Duffy, DEC
Fought tougher Competition.
Johns vs. Jackson
Montel Jackson, TKO, R3
Jackson has a lot of potential. I think his momentum continues when hes Kos Johns.
Gordon vs. Albazi
Amir Albazi, TKO, R3
Gordon doesnt appear to liked being hit. I think Albazi can put him away late.
Ramos vs. Tsarukyan
Davi Ramos, DEC
More Experienced. Could Ko or catch Arman in a sub.

I have watched him finish guys in the 2nd and 3rd round in M-1 Championship fights! I know I know, levels and all that. I'm just a bit surprised that he struggled so much. Also, I always question people heavily favoring a guy with hardly any fights, no fights in 2 years and wins against nobody in Dolidze. What is soooo great about Dolidze????? I don't get it??? Maybe I'm wrong, LIKELY!!!! maybe he's another Khamzat Chimaev.
What it is, is whenever I think a fight is close to 50/50 but people are favouring a guy heavily I will always pick the underdog. That's my way of doing things, works about 50% of the time, FOOLPROOF!!! Hahaha
