volkov has the tools to win standing, but he has a history of getting caught in the clinch and is far too eager to play guard when he gets taken down. it's not gonna work on blaydes and i think he'll end up getting finished with gnp like he did in the minakov fight.
Emmett vs. Burgos

shane's best win is cub on a 3 fight skid so i'm having trouble weighting it. he'll probably have the edge in volume, but i think he's hittable and that's not what you wanna be against emmett.
Pennington vs. Reneau

would be cool if marion pulled off an upset, but raquel is too unwilling to commit to get caught like that.

I love watching Burgos fight, but he leaves himself open quiet a bit. It works well for him because a lot of the time in order to land punches you need to take one. Unfortunately with Emmett all it will take is 1. I hope Burgos makes the adjustments - maybe keep his guard higher, but who knows.

Pennington is a slight favorite and has fought better competition lately, but shes been so damn dissapointing. I just cant side with her. Reneau can throw higher volume and will win a point fight imo. if youre gonna pick an underdog then why not this one? they are both equally unimpressive

Good's boxing is explosive and crisp. One of the best in the division. Im not sure if a lot of people know him on here, but the man is a beast. He wins on the feet for sure. He's so damn strong it will be hard to take him down. I could see Belal winning by pushing the pace and gassing Good out, or somehow getting the fight to the ground, but i would say this is less likely.

Having a hard time picking between Good And Bilal
Good has the power edge but generally gasses IMO, yet still KO'd a guy in his last fight in the 3rd
Bilal has a very good gas tank and has a high striking output, tends to get hit a lot though. That being said has a great chin
Good is emotional due to his fathers recent death, but i don't know if that's a motivator or a detriment
Going with Good....

Idk about you guys, but I'm going to sit in extreme joy and happiness, watching Blaydes smash Volkov's head thru the canvas. I'm givng Volkov a 5% chance. He actually really doesn't have much of a size difference here either. Of course a slight height advantage, but literally, ONLY 1" of reach, which isn't going to help him out much at all. I would not be surprised by a R1 finish, but I'm feeling R2 by destructive ground & pound.
