Modafferi vs. Murphy
Lauren Murphy, DEC
I have no confidence in either lady. I just think Murphy hits a little harder and will have more "sting" on her shots. I also think she can stuff the takedowns and get back to her feet if she does get taken down. This is truly a 50/50 fight.

I think this is a clear decision win for Guida.

Modafferi vs. Murphy
Roxanne Modafferi, DEC
I think Modafferi's experience gets her the win.

Bad matchup for Volkov, unless he can stuff the TDs and work his boxing. Still, don't think he has the gas tank to go 5 rnds

Emmett vs. Burgos
Shane Burgos, TKO, R1
Damn this is a good fight! Burgos' has the size, aggression and power to get it done long as he doesn't over commit himself

The only way to beat Blaydes is to knock him out when he come in for a takedown. If you can't he will kick you're ass and I don't think Volkov hit hard enought to do it.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 613th

Blaydes vs. Volkov
Curtis Blaydes, TKO, R3
Blaydes should make this look easy. Volkov is a decent striker but I can't see him stopping Blaydes taking him down were Blaydes has some of the best GNP in any division, 1 of the very few guys who ends fights with GNP

Emmett vs. Burgos
Shane Burgos, DEC
This should be a great fight. I really like Burgos striking, his output and cardio is on point too. He likely pieces Emmet up but Emmett has some nasty fight ending power. His KO's of Lamas and Johnson were brutal, both guys out before they hit the ground!!! So he is very dangerous. I'll take Burgos as I prefer technique over power but I am gonna be nervous until the final bell

Good vs. Muhammad
Lyman Good, TKO, R3
Another great match up. I'm thinking Good has the power and takedown defence to keep it on the feet and hurt Belal, maybe a late TKO though Belal is tough to finish

Guida vs. Green
Clay Guida, DEC
Another tough 1 for me to call. Who do you trust more? Bobby Green or Guida???? I'm gonna guess Guida will be in better condition and will outgrind Green

Torres vs. Van Buren
Brianna Van Buren, DEC
Torres can't catch a break!!! She went from losing a title eliminator vs Rose to a row of the toughest women in the game, Andrade, Zhang, Joanna!!! Jeez, now she gets fed to up n comers, Rodriguez I really rate, her Muay Thai is nasty! Now she gets Van Buren, who also looks like a future contender, though she maybe a bit undersized. But she is a wee buzzsaw! I think she is gonna ragdoll Torres to a dominant decision win. Tecia may have to call it a day

Barriault vs. Piechota
Marc-André Barriault, TKO, R2
This is 1 of those fights I've no feckin clue????? I mean what do you go on here??? Barriault was a successful brawler on the Canadian regional scene, TKO Champ 2 weight I think? But all his UFC fights he has been unable to land anything significant, he struggles to cut the cage, gets outmanouverd, outpointed, frustrated and loses the decision. Then you've Piechota who came in undefeated from Poland, picked up a couple wins but when taking a slight step up in competition has been finished quickly, easily and brutally last time! I probably say Piechota is a little more skilled overall but I think the small cage comes into play again. This time, allowing Barriault to finally get his hands on an opponent and get a TKO

Camacho vs. Frevola
Frank Camacho, TKO, R1
WAR!!! Frank the CRANK!!!

I wouldn't underestimated Volkov's chances in beating Blaydes. He was wining the fight with Derrick Lewis until Derrick knocked him out in the last ten seconds of the fight. If Volkov can nullifying Blaydes take downs, it could be a long night for Curtis. Co-main event is going to be fireworks and FOTN.

Roosevelt Roberts   vs.   Jim Miller

The **** train has no brakes when it comes to Jim's twilight years, it seems. Not sure what he's doing taking a fight with a young killer like Roosevelt but here we are. Time to get a new manager.

I can't be certain whether Roberts wins by sub or KO/TKO. Could be either. Either way, he should be -6000 going in to this. Jim has absolutely no path to victory in this fight. Major guppy feed.

Roxanne Modafferi   vs.   Lauren Murphy

I basically refuse to accept that Roxanne 'hit a new level' in the Barber fight. My guess is that Maycee blew her knee and was never able to recover.

She's probably going to win here however. Dec.

Tecia Torres   vs.   Brianna Van Buren

I like Van Buren. She's a power pellet and one of the few WMMA fighters with power enough to make fights interesting. Solid wrestler, too. Bright prospect.

She'll have to be very careful here however, because Tecia has very good TDD, and throws enough in bunches to take this on the cards. Very difficult fight to pick. Either could be a good value play.

4 of Tecia's losses, which are all straight, have been to absolute beasts. JJ, Andrade, Zhang,Rodriguez.

Brianna hasn't fought anyone close to the level of any of those names. She's got a long record of crushed cans, and too may decision victories for me to pick her in this.

Think I'll take Tecia by dec.

Clay Guida   vs.   Bobby Green

It's insane that Guida is still fighting in 2020, and this matchup is more insane still. Bobby Green is inconsistent but he's not going to lose to a relic like Guida, who probably should have retired after beating the CTE zombie that is BJ Penn.

Another guppy feed. Green by murder R2.

Raquel Pennington   vs.   Marion Reneau

Oh goody; Raquel 'the grass stain' Pennington vs Marion 'the skidmark' Reneau. Who will wash out first? I've no idea, but what I can tell you is that I explicitly don't care at all, and I can't imagine why anybody would apart from weebs with fetishes for women who look like warthogs and punch puppets.

I suppose I'll take the punch puppet.

Cortney Casey   vs.   Gillian Robertson

Very, very difficult fight to pick. Another garbage fight incidentally. The 30 seconds or so of this fight that actually happens in space and isn't going to look like two bulldikes having a dry rub on the couch during movie night will favor Casey. This will decided by the dry rubbing however. I have to think Robertson will be the top, but Casey is probably going to be a fairly live power bottom.

Roberston by split.
