Amanda Nunes, TKO, R1
I haven't been watching any breakdown podcasts. I think Amanda Nunes is going to blitz out of the gate and bring a hurricane on Spencer. Still, I can't help noticing the crazy similarities between this fight and Holm vs Rousey. Nice quiet girl, hasn't had a lot of MMA fights yet - but she's been impressive. She's barely a blip on most peoples' radar. I don't think she's ready to beat the champion yet. I didn't think Holly was either. I didn't think Rose was either. I didn't think Cejudo was either (DJ fight). Nunes is currently the GOAT, but her wins against Shevchenko, a flyweight, were controversial - especially the second one. There's a small chance this fight could shock us.

Amanda Nunes, TKO, R3
Mercy stoppage. Nunes out to erase her last underwhelming performance
Assunção vs. Garbrandt
Raphael Assunção, SUB, R2
Assuncao stuns him and jumps on a finish but I'm very biased because I dislike Cody so don't listen to me
Sterling vs. Sandhagen
Cory Sandhagen, DEC
Aljo really impressed me in his last fight so this is a true tossup imo
Magny vs. Martin
Anthony Rocco Martin, DEC
I hate this fight because I'm a fan of both guys
O'Malley vs. Wineland
Eddie Wineland, TKO, R2
This one is just way off. Can O'Malley win, sure it's MMA but has he shown anywhere near the finishing power or skill that Wineland is absolutely known to possess? Not even close. I will be shocked if he pulls this off even acknowledging that MMA is always improving and O'Malley has had 2 years off to work on his game. There's still levels to this **** and this just seems like way too big of a leap.
Hooper vs. Caceres
Alex Caceres, DEC
Slow down that hype train
Heinisch vs. Meerschaert
Gerald Meerschaert, SUB, R2
I really like this fight
Stamann vs. Kelleher
Cody Stamann, DEC
War Boom! but this will probably be a good time for a bathroom break
Byrd vs. Pitolo
Maki Pitolo, TKO, R2
Rooting for Coconut Bombz. Byrd has clearly shown more well-rounded skills but his boring ass spectacularly fails to live up to his nickname and I attribute Maki's subpar last performance and Byrd's seeming more well-roundedness to the clear overall skill drop as you go up in weight class. Pitolo was fighting a LW at WW and now he's at MW so while this is probably more of a hope and/or believe in youth improvement pick than a smart one, **** it.
Formiga vs. Perez
Jussier Formiga, DEC
Would love to see the youngster win but Formiga is more proven
Menifield vs. Clark
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Gotta go with the undefeated fighter but if Clark survives the 1st I won't be completely shocked to see him eke out a decision
Dunham vs. Burns
Evan Dunham, DEC
Picks seem way off because Burns hasn't won a decision since 2014 or faced anywhere near the level of comp as Dunham so I am not at all confident of his ability to finish Dunham. The worrying factors are Evan's retirement/layoff and the apparent intention to drop to FW after this fight coupled with his history of susceptibility to body shots but I'll trust his experience that this isn't a rash decision, he's done his homework on safely lowering his body weight AND, most importantly that Herbert hasn't magically acquired his brother's improvements.

Raphael Assunção, TKO, R1
Hard to go for Cody after 3 KO losses. I could be wrong on this one, but I feel people are underestimating Assuncao.
Sterling vs. Sandhagen
Cory Sandhagen, DEC
Tough one to call could go either way. Cody with the slight edge on this one.
Magny vs. Martin
Neil Magny, DEC
Went back and forth on this one, but I feel Magny will secure the win.
O'Malley vs. Wineland
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R2
Wineland is the vet and could pull the upset, but I am going with the Suga show.
Heinisch vs. Meerschaert
Gerald Meerschaert, SUB, R2
G3 with the sub!!!
Menifield vs. Clark
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Alonzo with the first round KO!!!
Dunham vs. Burns
Evan Dunham, DEC
Herbert is not Gilbert lol Dunham can pull this off if he manage to avoid bodyshots.

Felicia Spencer, TKO, R3
While I'm entering a pick for Spencer, I agree that Nunes should be favored here. From what we've seen, Nunes is faster, hits harder, has better striking technique, and has more experience. I just think Spencer at +430 odds is crazy. Spencer is very tough. She showed a good chin against Cyborg AND split Cyborg's forehead open with a nasty elbow in the first round. Spencer is a dangerous grappler and I suspect Nunes will prefer not to be on the ground with her. I think Nunes will take over on the feet and possibly even knock Spencer out cold early in the fight. But I also think it's plausible that Spencer lands some good strikes and wears Nunes down. So, purely based on value on the betting line, my pick is Spencer.
