@DamienHandel420

If the Volkanovski/Holloway rematch happens, I would pick Holloway to win.

I picked Volkanovski in their first fight, but I too will most likely go with Max in the rematch.
Max’s fight IQ is so good, and I think he’ll be able to make the right adjustments and come in with a more tailored game-plan. Max will have to set the pace early this go around. To me that was the deciding factor in their prior matchup.

I just want to see if Max will make a concerted effort to check leg kicks more this time. And also, would much rather have seen him get matched up with Yair before a rematch.

I know Max was a good champ, but honestly I'd rather see Ortega v Volkan.

The first fight was close, and the second fight will be close too. Not writing Max off even though as an Aussie I'll be rooting for Volkanovski. He's actually got the better ring IQ than Max and pretty much shut him down. Whether he can repeat that performance remains to be seen. That stated I already rate the great as one of the best FW's of all time. He's beaten everyone on their own turf. A superb fighter.

Immediate rematches should only exist after a draw or a split decision (or in extreme cases like a controversial unanimous decision from the stupid judges)

Shevchenko's out injured and Volkanovski doesn't want to fight on the card anymore..this looks likely to get cancelled.

Yes Volk did shut Max down, but boy it was not close. 4-1/5-0 is not close
3-2’s that are decided off one round that was an even round is close

Yup. And Cormier dominated that fight before Miocic got the comeback. That doesn’t matter but still

Miocic was also winning the first fight be those blatant eye gauges that clearly caused damage.

I’m not saying it’s Miocics fight in the bag. I think they’ve both demonstrated that the can end each other. Cormier definitely showed he has the power and wrestling if he can game plan better than the second half of the second fight. Miocic also showed he has has the power as well if he can weather the early wrestling. It’s a great fight. These guys are the best in the division right. Winner gets the winner of the Heavy Hitters #1 contender fight. Fun time at HW, IMO.

I've got a feeling that this card might be the worst PPV of the decade. I don't think they'll be able to find good fights for this card. The reason they postponed Woodley vs Burns is they don't have fights to make on the card. I hope I'm wrong about this.

I don't agree with Marlon being involved. If he wins his next one against another top contender then the 1st challenger to the new champ ok but there's too much of a logjam right now.

Yeah volk all the way in rematch his iq and adaptability make him amazing.
If you watch the interviews you learn a lot he is not motivated by pride like a lot of guys.
Well maybe now that hes champ but I still have him winning probably stop or hurt max more.
I see ortega as a good fight for him his nasty phone box **** wrecks most, but volk probably too good.
He reminds me of a peak frank edgar hell ko a guy whos agressive or point beat defense.
