Chase Hooper, SUB, R2
My money is on Hooper by sub +175 and Hooper ML/under 2.5 rounds parlay. This one just seems like a matchup made for Hooper by RNC. If I wrong I lose, but I like my chances.

Poor Spencer...
Assunção vs. Garbrandt
Raphael Assunção, DEC
Expected the odds to be closer, considering how Cody approached his recent fights.

Amanda Nunes, TKO, R1
I am suprisingly not at all confident with this pick as my gut is screaming HUGE UPSET but i just cannot go against Nunes, she is far to dangerous with her hands for me to predict anything other than another KO win for her. im taking nunes by round 1 KO
Assunção vs. Garbrandt
Cody Garbrandt, DEC
Garbrandt is in need of a win here, coming off 3 back to back KO losses, i think he may have finally learnt that fighting a slug fest does not favour him and to fight his fight has proven to be much more successful. i can see Garbrandt putting on a clinic here and showing just how dangerous he still is when he has his head screwed on and sticks to a game plan. given that Assuncao has only been KO`d once in his carear and that was back in 2011 im going for Garbrandt by decision
Sterling vs. Sandhagen
Aljamain Sterling, DEC
Extremely close fight, both huge prospects however i am going to just side with sterling in this one, this comes down to him facing the slightly better competition and being a bit more of a well rounded fighter, if the fight gets finished then i would say sandhagen gets it done but i think sterling may implement his superior ground game which may not seem overly successful at first however just simply adding into the mix will give sandhagen more to think about which will lead him to leaving himself more exposed to sterlings stand up allowing him to pull away on the judges score cards.
O'Malley vs. Wineland
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R1
Taking nothing away from O`Malley but this match up does seem to be a bit of a gift however i am well onboard the Sugar Show hype train and i will be very pleased to watch him pick up another win in this fight and i think it will be much the same as his last fight in respect of him getting a composed and calculated early finish. Round 1 KO/TKO
Hooper vs. Caceres
Chase Hooper, SUB, R1
against someone with legit one punch power in their hands i would be seriously concerned for chase hooper, when i look at him i cant help but think his body really does look under-developed probably due to him still being so young and i feel like its only a matter of time before someone comes and teaches him a painful lesson in that you cant rely so heavily on your submission game forever. Caceres does not have that one punch knock out power and therefore for this fight i do not think he will be the one to teach chase this lesson.... could Caceres come in and pick hooper apart on the feet and avoid engaging with him on the ground cruising his way to a decision win? Absolutely. Do i think he is going to do that? Absolutely Not... at some point hooper will drag Caceres down, whether that be through a take down or simply pulling guard, either way this fight will inevitably hit the mat at some stage and i then think hooper will shine and go to work for the finish. Given Caceres`s track record with submission defence i would say that this one ends by submission and im going for sooner rather than later. Hooper Round 1 Submission
Formiga vs. Perez
Jussier Formiga, DEC
This is a vary close fight, alot closer than the percentages imply... it is certainly and move important fight for formiga than it is for Perez, being 35 and coming off 2 back to back losses i think it is safe to say Formiga is in desperate need of a win here if he hopes to remain in title contention talks. Luckily for him i think he just does enough with his ground work to get the judges nod at the end of the 3rd round in this one, could even be a split decision. but i am going Formiga Decision
Menifield vs. Clark
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Devin Clark has had it quite tough in the UFC with some of his match ups and i do think he is a decent fighter, he just seems to lack that killer instinct and fight IQ when under pressure and unfortunately for him that is not good coming up against Alonzo Menifield.... he will be in your face from the moment the round starts, that combined with legit knockout power is not a good combination for clark to be coming up against. we have not seen Menifield have to fight back from adversity so should Clark land a take down or two and gain a dominant top postion it could be interesting to see how menifield copes and reacts to this. Having never gone longer than 32 seconds of the second round it would also be fair to question what Menifields cardio will be like should this fight reach the later stages of round 2 and round 3. In this fight however I dont see it playing a part in the outcome as i am going to predict Menifiled to come out the gate hot and starch Clark in round 1 before he can even compose himself taking him to a solid 10-0 record.
