Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 0 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 1778th

Overeem vs. Harris
Walt Harris, TKO, R1
Harris has fought nobody close to Overeems level before! But it's Overeem so he could very easily KTFO him quick!!! Whatever way this 1 goes it won't last long!

Gadelha vs. Calvillo
Cynthia Calvillo, DEC
It's kinda crazy to me that Calvillo is OLDER than Gadelha!!! That stat shows how long Gadelha has been around and similar to other Nova Uniao fighters they tend to burn out relatively young. It's no secret that she has terrible cardio! And if her last fight was her way of fixing that problem(a low output staring contest with Randa Markos!!!!!) she can forget about being a contender. Calvillo should outwork her and get a decision win.

Struve vs. Rothwell
Ben Rothwell, TKO, R1
I fear after this fight Struve will wish he stayed retired! Saying that Rothwell has looked nowhere near the same fighter from before his 3 year suspension. Shame as he was on the verge of a title shot and was gaining a cult following. If Big Ben can't get a win here then maybe he should think about retiring, or going to Bellator (MMA's Retirement Home)

Condit vs. Gall
Carlos Condit, TKO, R2
Please win this fight Carlos!!!! My heart cannot take The ****** Natural Born Killer getting subbed by Mickey Mutha****** Gall!!!!!! Please MMA GODS! PPPPPPPPPPPPPLEASE!!!!!!!

Mitchell vs. Sayles
Matt Sayles, TKO, R2
I like what I've seen from Sayles so far. Nice boxing, good takedown defense, decent sub offense and defence, slightly suspect cardio though. Also, I can't root for a guy with that floppy hair do Mitchell has! P.S I had that same floppy hair do,,,,,,,,,,,,,, when I was 13 and I was an *******!!!!!!!!

Stamann vs. Song
Yadong Song, TKO, R2
Dong da dong dong DONG!!!! That is all!

Struve vs. Rothwell
Stefan Struve, DEC
Weird but fun fight, glad to see Stefan un-retire. I will take Struve by UD. Probably a boring, sloppy, bloody striking match.

Condit vs. Gall
Carlos Condit, DEC
Condit will edge Mickey to a 29-28 UD

Most of Overeem's submission wins have come by guillotine choke, he isn't likely to hit that move since he isn't facing a wrestler.

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 0 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 1778th

Ladd vs. Kunitskaya
Yana Kunitskaya, DEC
Aspen Ladd appealing her loss to GDR turned me off her. She tried to argue that the fight was only stopped due to Sexism, Gender inequality! No Aspen, fight was stopped coz you got cracked clean on the jaw, sat on your ass with little cartoon bird's flying round your head! She also is another of the female fighters with a lot of thirsty virgin Twitter followers! Not her fault, but still, I instantly root for her demise!! This is the rare occasion I break my ugly chick rule!

Calvillo vs. Rodriguez
Marina Rodriguez, TKO, R3
Rodriguez is my new favourite female prospect. She has looked increasingly better each time out. I remember her destroying some poor girl with a brutal clinch attack on thd Brazilian Contender Series. She had a bad start in the UFC where in the 1st round Markos ragdolled her and almost subbed her multiple times only for Rodriguez to turn around and almost finish Markos with strikes to earn a draw. Her performance vs both Aguilar and Torres were a showcase of great takedown defence with vicious Muay Thai! How she didn't get a finish in either fight, I do not know??? Calvillo is another step up. Another opponent who wants to take her down and has nothing on the feet, in comparison. I'm hoping Rodriguez continues on her way to the top 5 and title contention. Womens 115 is pretty stacked

Fishgold vs. Quarantillo
Billy Quarantillo, TKO, R2
I'd love for Fishgold to catch a sub and get the win. He has a chance early but he has shown he starts strong, fades fast. Quarantillo kust happens to have that Wrestler gas tank! So may be interesting for a round then Quarantillo takes over possibly finishing.

Jandiroba vs. Souza
Virna Jandiroba, DEC
I lost all faith I had in Souza after her woeful performance vs Van Buren. Jandiroba on the other hand fought a razor close fight with Esparza. Plus the size difference. Someone needs to measure Souza coz there is NO WAY she is 5'5"!!!! Lucky if she's 5'1"

Wiman vs. Solecki
Joe Solecki, DEC
Matt Wiman should not be in the UFC!!! He disappeared for 5 years, came back and was destroyed by Pena. Solecki is being set up for a win here. Dana does seem to favour the Contender Series guys. 1 thing I don't like is Solecki doesn't finish by KO, he's a Sub guy. That's bad for Wiman as the 1 thing he showed was good sub defence. Thr reason that's bad is he'll likely take a lot of shots, probably for the full 15mins. CTE is in the post

Alves vs. Means
Thiago Alves, DEC
I can't believe I'm picking Thiago Alves to win a fight in 2019!!!! About 15 years after I 1st witnessed him destroying every wrestler,(Koscheck & Matt Hughes being most impressive) in his path on the way to GSP at UFC100. Why am I still picking him 10+ years later??? Tim Means hasn't looked good in years, only beating Ricky Rainey in 3 years and cominv of a vicious KO vs Niko Price just 6 months ago where he was KO so bad he broke his ankle when hitting the deck! OUCH!!! I'm not convinced he comes back from that well and he was already on the down side

Font vs. Simón
Ricky Simón, DEC
This comes down to 1 thing. Can Font deal with Simons relentless wrestling attack??? If he can stuff the takedowns he likely pieces Simon up. If he cant he's on his back most of the fight. I hope Font can do it as I always prefer a good striker who finishes fights to a decision heavy wrestler. Unfortunately the Wrestlers tend to come out on top the majority of the time. BOOOOOOO!

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 545 Points   |   Tied for 411th

Stefan Struve   vs.   Ben Rothwell

Ben Rothwell, KO/TKO R2.

This is struve in 2019, except he's not advertising lemons at the used lot--he's advertising how to get beaten like a bed-wetting orphan, and amazingly UFC seems to believe there's a market for that. I have no idea what he's  still doing in the UFC. Ben Rothwell is a big slow fat hairy ****, aye--I'll give you that, but he's still got more than enough to put away the shambolic  chinless bread stick of a man that is Struve.

Aspen Ladd   vs.   Yana Kunitskaya

Ladd, dec.

I don't know what it is, but there's something about Aspen's face that makes me think she'd not be out of place in a safety helmet, smelling of fresh poo and screaming at a balloon while trying to eat a thick shake with her hands during a children's birthday party at Mcdonalds. Can she beat Yana 'peel me banana' Kunistkaya? Probably, because Yana doesn't have real power and is pretty easy to put on her back.

Chris Fishgold   vs.   Billy Quarantillo

Fishgold, Sub R1.

I'm not impressed with Qurantillo. Fishgold has ****** the dog a couple of times in the UFC now, but I still feel he's a much more technical, rounded fighter than Billy, who is the sort of guy who you can't believe has the kind of record he does when you see him fight. I think Fishgold drops him and pounces on his neck between 1-2.

Cody Stamann   vs.   Yadong Song

Song, dec.

Very difficult fight to pick and I may go back and forth on it before the day of the event. Cody Stamann is a top ten fighter for about 8 minutes, before gassing. He does have strong wrestling and while his striking isn't unorthodox, varied nor difficult to read, it is nonetheless effective, he hits hard, his fundamentals are good, and he uses it well to set up entries. Song has looked great recently. He's difficult to catch and has good counters. If he can't stay up he'll lose here....but for now, I'm going to say he can, and wins on points.

Rob Font   vs.   Ricky Simón

Rob Font. KO/TKO R2.

I'll not be picking Ricky the last poohican Simon over anyone good after getting knocked out by a semi-retired skateborder, thankyou very much ladies and gents. And Font IS a good fighter. He's never lost to anyone bad, has wins over schnell, andrade, and pettis, and would probably win an assuncao rematch. Ricky Simon has good chain wrestling, but he's small for the division and is roughly as durable as an Italian meringue. I think Font lights him up for TKO here.

Thiago Alves   vs.   Tim Means

Alves, Dec.

Battle of the washouts. Both of these guys are like that abandoned building which has stood in your neighborhood as long as you can remember growing stalagmites of pigeon dung, occasionally serving as a squat for crackheads, that has for whatever reason never been knocked down. That stated, I do think this has the makings of an ugly but entertaining back-and-forth fight that probably goes to split. I think Alves has more will to win in him at this point. Zero confidence.

Cynthia Calvillo   vs.   Marina Rodriguez

Rodriguez, Dec.

Now this is an interesting fight. First off and full disclosure, I do not like Cavillo. She's a mean spirited greasy little ***** who I find grating--the sort of woman who would serve you a burrito from the side of van, wrapped in a tortilla she's wiped between her butt cheeks because she caught you staring at the remnants of horchata clinging to her mustache. I like Rodriguez. She's a slow starter but she's got nasty hands, solid TDD and always goes for the kill. I think Cavillo survives but gets beaten up. I hope so, anyway. But I hope more that Rodriguez drops a knee in her face as she's dipping in and her head busts like a melon.
