this is why Gunni lost to Leon too he seems like hes being active but he hits air more than the guy across from him and the other time in the cage he is leaning up on the fence which doesnt count as control

Gunni is top 20 for sure but wont go far if he doesnt change his style up i think if he left SBG and went to Tristar it would do him good

that's what I hate about mma scoring, the first 4 minutes of a round aren't important, you just need a takedown or a big hit in the last minute to steal the round

@Skody but it's not like that...well, if you consider holding someone on the cage, doing nothing but an unseccessful takedown attempts, then yes, you're right because he was more active fighter of the two. However... Burns did more in one minute than Nelson in the previous four and that's what matter.. right?

@bruce no media scored it for Gunni and most had it 30-27... i gave him the first but barely and Gilbert nearly doubled the significant output standing along with two td and the most devastating strike of the fight being Gilberts jump knee

i like Gunni too not as much as you but just being honest

@cartel I don't know bud? I mean Burns didn't do too much himself either. I mean if those last minutes were full of strikes or control then for sure he wins. But what hd landed 1 or 2 strikes and a takedown that Gunnar got back up from. Of course Nelson didn't do much either.
All in all a crap fight and I dont care i only wanted Gunnar to win for my pick! Lol

@Mikey Yeah, clear two rounds may be bald statement from me.. hard to say. Burns was more efficient fighter when he finally decided to do something with a dull round. I agree tho... not the best fight I've seen.

Got to go with Hermansson on this one that ground and pound game mixed in with that signature guillotine just seems like it’s gonna be to much for Cannonier to handle but if Cannonier can land a flush shot it could be lights out not counting him out
