Seems weird, this card was announced a while and I couldn't find a thread on it, so I decided to create one to discuss something else besides the UFC.
Bellator's still pushing King Mo. He's fighting Seth Petruzelli at Bealltor 96. Again if he fights overconfident again and tries to stand with Seth instead of using his wrestling to take him down and pound on him from the top to a decision, then there could be another KO loss in Mo's record.
For whatever reason Bellator wants to make King Mo vs. Babalu, I'm guessing maybe because Babalu's a former UFC fighter, so they think they could build off of that if King Mo beats him in the next round which is the finals which I'm guessing they're hoping it leads up to Newton vs. King Mo II.
Chandler's so much better than any other lightweight outsider of the UFC, so he should just steamroll Jansen.
Honestly, outside of Chandler vs. Jansen, this card isn't as strong as some of past seasons cards, mainly because their weaker divisions are the heavier weight classes and this main card is revolved around those weight classes.

Plus Michael Chandler is literally the best fighter in Bellator. They should be promotinh the **** out of him.

I hope when Matyushenko gets to Bellator he ****s everyone up in the LHW division. I cant wait for his debut. I think he provides some legitimacy to that division, regardless of age.

Honestly though. This is why Rebney will never compare to the likes of Dana. Why the **** is he continuing to promote King Mo like this?! Does he deserve it? No. They should take their time to promote the two greatest non-ZUFFA fighters on planet earth that they happen to have, Pat Curran and Michael Chandler.

Dudu's proven through the years he's legit.
Askren despite being boring, has been a dominant champion.
It makes sense to promote them as they are champions on top of King Mo who got KO'd in the second round of the light heavyweight tournament.

In the UFC no fighter is bigger than the organization but it seems like Bellator have scrapped that rule while could be their demise. They have 4 sick champions in Chandler, Curran, Askren and Dantas yet they're giving all this publicity to King Mo.
Can you imagine the UFC releasing a poster of an event with a co-main eventer being the star and no sign of the champion who is headlining? Seems to be the difference between Dana and Bjorn is Dana knows it's a business but he won't **** you over if you do your job whereas Bjorn will happily **** you over to get what he wants regardless of what you do for him. What he did to Eddie is a perfect example...

Also, I'm actually somewhat excited for War Machine, would have much preferred the Paul Daley fight that was going to happen though.

Bellator is in a somewhat enviable position in that they can sign all these guys who are 4-0, 5-0, wouldn't really qualify for the UFC yet but might have some real potential. Or a guy like Michael Page that the UFC would probably love to get their hands on but would normally wait until he had closer to 10 fights.
