Seems weird, this card was announced a while and I couldn't find a thread on it, so I decided to create one to discuss something else besides the UFC.

Bellator's still pushing King Mo. He's fighting Seth Petruzelli at Bealltor 96. Again if he fights overconfident again and tries to stand with Seth instead of using his wrestling to take him down and pound on him from the top to a decision, then there could be another KO loss in Mo's record.

For whatever reason Bellator wants to make King Mo vs. Babalu, I'm guessing maybe because Babalu's a former UFC fighter, so they think they could build off of that if King Mo beats him in the next round which is the finals which I'm guessing they're hoping it leads up to Newton vs. King Mo II.

Chandler's so much better than any other lightweight outsider of the UFC, so he should just steamroll Jansen.

Honestly, outside of Chandler vs. Jansen, this card isn't as strong as some of past seasons cards, mainly because their weaker divisions are the heavier weight classes and this main card is revolved around those weight classes.

Not a great HW tournament either. 3 of the 4 are coming off losses, 2 were to the Current HW champ. The undefated guy is rather unproven but he is the one I'm hoping takes the whole thing. I really don't want to see a rematch for the title in his first defense.

I agree, this Heavyweight tournament leaves a bit to be desired.  While they do have probably the best guys they could get for this thing, it shows that Heavyweight just isn't Bellator's best division, not by a mile.  At least the Light Heavyweight tournament has some legit big names, but even that one feels like a Season 8 Light Heavyweight tournament redo to me.

Always fun to see Babalu fight and I do want to see how Lawal rebounds from that loss. I don't get all the War Machine hubbub. He was never that good and he's an *******.

I agree. why the big "PLUS THE RETURN OF WAR MACHINE" like he was ever a great fighter. He's not returning to Bellator. Maybe his return to Spike or his return to MMA after another go around in Prison. He has been such a mediocre fighter in the past he is 2-2 in his last 4 leading in to this fight and hasn't fought in nearly 2 years. All he does is talk **** on Twitter and they promote him like the face of Bellator.

I almost picked War Machine to lose . then I saw all the TKOs losses the other guy had , not worth the risk.

that sucks . Hale will win easy after Martinez gasses. Queiroz was more intriguing to me. Still a decent fight I guess Martinez's last win was pretty impressive.

I checked and saw that I picked Avena to beat War Machine. Pretty sure I made that pick out of spite too.

Sounds like some fighters had difficulty making weight:

* Noe was 206.2 on his first attempt, but made weight on his second try.
** Artoff was 138.8 on his first attempt, but made weight on his second try.
*** Campos was was 159.2 on his first attempt, but could not make weight and forfeits a portion of his purse to Girtz.
**** Smith was 137.7 on his first attempt, but made weight on his second try.
***** Berry was 190 on his first attempt, but could not make weight and forfeits a portion of his purse to Coleman.
