Wiki
UFC 82 Wiki
After coming into the UFC in 2007 and losing a competitive Unanimous Decision in a light heavyweight title unification bout, Pride Middleweight and Welterweight Champion Dan Henderson was asked to put his Welterweight (185-pound) title on the line in a unification with UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva in March of 2008. Although Henderson started out strong, winning the first round, Silva demonstrated why he was the best in the world, battering and then submitting the rival champion in the second round.
During the event, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Mark “The Hammer” Coleman was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
