The bantamweight GOAT. This is the man who put the division on the map. Made a name for himself back in the WEC days with his highly unorthodox and innovative footwork-based style, was the first ever UFC Bantamweight Champion, elevated the division with his rivalry against Urijah Faber, their classic at UFC 132 remains the greatest fight in the history of the division. But what makes Dominick Cruz so special is his undying will and perseverance. No fighter in the history of the sport has had to deal and comeback from as many crushing injuries as Dominick Cruz. His comeback stories are a thing of legend and him regaining the title he never lost at the hands of TJ Dillashaw five years after last defending it remains of the greatest moments in MMA history and makes Dominick Cruz one of the most inspiring fighters ever.

The guy certainly has some anger management problems, very sensitive and emotional, also one of the worst trash talkers in the game, which makes him quite funny most of the time, even though it's mostly unintentional. But in that octagon, Cody is a real savage. One of the best boxers in the game who can knock anyone out with his raw power and blazing speed, but who can also fight brilliantly as perfectly displayed in his legendary title winning performance over the bantamweight GOAT, Dominick Cruz. Unfortunately, his tendency to fight emotional ultimately cost him some crushing defeats, but that's also what makes him one of the most exciting fighters in the game.
