I guess I wasn't impressed with Easton or Papazian. It was good fight in that they stood and fought and there was action but neither of these guys seems to have any power or ground game. These two have a very very long way to go to be relevant.

how much heat do you think Bantamweights pack?????  FOTN and being relevant in the division have nothing to do with each other.  I don't think anyone is saying line up for a title shot, but give credit where credit is due.

Lopati, I never said it shouldn't be FOTN. I was just saying neither one of those guys are very good. It was an entertaining fight, which can happen regardless of the talent of the fighters. Good action, close fight...clearly FOTN on this card.

I tried picking some upsets, thinking they were possible, and ate dirt instead.  Great event though, and actually pleased with the results.  I picked against a lot of the guys that I wanted to win, so I was happy to see them come out on top.  Jim Miller looked pretty solid, and did a great job exposing Guillard.

I love the fans going crazy over the FON bonus! I will take care of Easton & Papazian. It's was a tough choice tonight. Great fights!!

and here it is from the man himself.  even he realized he made a mistake.

I was VERY impressed with Pat Barry. When he got taken down I rolled my eyes and regretted with my choice...Only to see him not just get out but in a smart way. Again it happened and my jaw was almost dropping. Then Barry gets the KO and my jaw did drop. When Barry said his ground game had improved vastly I was cynical but damn it really has.

Keep up the good work HD.
