It's a mismatch because Charles can't stop the takedown and can't submit Islam off his back. It's a no brainer. Islam's odds should be about the same as Mokaev's.

barely squeezed? *** he was dominating literally every facet of fighting in that matchup and especially the ground part which is where this fight is going to be decided on

muradov unironically got pieced up by gerald when he realized he can't put him away then got easily taken down consecutively and quickly finished

this fight IS a mismatch and borralho will make a statement win

I've seen about 50 posts claiming a third degree BJJ black belt can't submit a combat Sambo fighter off its back.

Man, I should toss all my training out the window and find a Sambo gym. Apparently this style is unbeatable and I'm a giant ******.

what about Olivera forward pressure, it’s significantly harder to take someone down when moving back. this is a nightmare matchup for Islam as much as it is Olivera. Islam has to fight the perfect fight one mistake on the ground or standup Olivera could finish him

let's not forget islam continuously either knowingly or unknowingly gives up his neck for guillotine attacks

chris wade (lol) and drew dober (also lol) almost subbed islam makhachev because of how exposed his neck is at times

Barely squeezed was an overstatement but from what I’ve seen Muradov do versus competition, versus what Borralho has done, I like Muradov as a dog. Could go either way, I think the Gerald fight just left a bad taste in peoples mouth because almost everyone had Muradov to win that fight and he ruined parlays. Only concerning thing for me is his time off versus Borralho’s activeness
