Another reason why "significant strike" count is dog****. It doesn't tell the story of the fight. Detrimental fight for Yan which he actually won.

Bro that was definitely a robbery but the judges do this **** all the time I learned to just bet the underdog that has a storyline and a face. Boxing does this all the time

I have no ******* clue how no takedowns, hardly any control time and 10 give or take significant strikes can win over 6 takedowns and almost half the fight in control time.....how the hell did Yan not win? I'm truly baffled here.

Of course they factored in the cut. The first thing they score is damage. Thats why I said people posting Yan 30-27 are ******* high. 

Round 1 was very close and that was before any of the big damaging shots were landed.

ImRealUgly Unfortunately that's not going to happen. If anything, I hope they give Yan a favorable fight. He was supposed to win this one. O'Malley basically said it himself in his interview just now. These judges need to be held accountable for **** like this!
