Not saying Garcia should be a big favorite but the line is pretty accurate based on the data if you ask me.

All of them in small promotions in Asia.
Goes on to beat a 7-0 guy on contender series in a very closely fought decision.
Steve Garcia's wins of note:
- 2-0 guy, now 11-6 with wins in Bellator
- 5-0 guy, now 12-4 wins in Bellator
- 3-0 Ronnie Lawrence, now 8-1 with wins in the UFC
- 21-6 guy, retired after at 21-7

- 11-7 Charlie Ontiveros who he defeated in the UFC
He's also fought and beat a good number of bums that I didn't list and he's lost to some decent fighters like Ricky Turcios and Luis Peña
So what footage of Maheshate is out there that makes you think it's a pickem? His contender series fight blew you away? The commentators for that contender series fight even said they had watched no footage of him because they couldn't find any of his matches, and they have a whole production team to supply them with that ****, that's how low level those wins were.
I asked before if anyone on here knows what the silver medal that Maheshate got in greco-roman was at (as listed in the notes in his contender series fight).
So if there's more info to be had on the guy out there I'd be the first to ask for it.
I don't rate Garcia as anything spedcial and wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he lost but when there is nothing to go on you look at the fight data to set the lines. The fight is accurately lined.

@paulopasta hmm maybe, he is a juicer so that wouldn’t surprise me. I think discipline is a big role too tho considering he has missed weight throughout his entire career, not just ufc. He just doesn’t give af about making contracted weight

One thing that I’ve learned about Valentina’s reign is never say she has holes in her game or she has flaws (Santos in interview) because she will take that personal and just obliterate you now, the best thing I’d advise to say in interviews is “I’m her biggest fan, I love her, she’s the reason I fight” or something because then she may take it easy and you could sneak a win but DO NOT say she has holes, I’ve noticed that just pisses her off 😂

kang seems to score a few td's in all of his fights and i think that will be key to slowing down batgirl.

was gonna say liang won't be as dangerous as prior opponents, but i'm not sure juarez will have the range striking necessary to be all the way in or out.

It's also not just an advantage to cut, you sacrifice some cardio and a bit of your chin as well depending on how it's done.
