Glover Teixeira, SUB, R3
I am torn on this one, but I will lean Glover. Jiri should win this on paper, as Glover is 42 and he is much younger, fresher, and faster as well as more athletic. But for now, I stand with the champion as he is very tough and durable. Jiri not only has to avoid getting taken down, but Glover can swing. Jiri is objectively much better standing up, and a tremendous striker in his own right. He is so crafty, but his defense is not there and he gets too erratic and wild at times. Glover will get put down, but he will get back up. I think in the middle of a long war of attrition, Glover clubs Jiri with a windmill overhand and shoots a takedown. He finds a way to the back, and cranks in a choke. This should be a war and I can see either side winning.
Shevchenko vs. Santos

i firmly believe Taila Santos has the best skillset and style available in this class to defeat Valentina Shevchenko. But I just don't see her being ready. Santos is very long, has a good arsenal of strikes, and has improved top heavy grappling. But Shevchenko is an entirely different beast, she is so much faster, so much stronger, so much more technical, I could go on. Either we see a drawn out chess match that sees Shevchenko win every round 10-9 using her distance striking, or we see a quick night in the office and a early submission win. I hope for a decent match, and I know that Santos has a shot here.

I still hold very highly that I picked Glover to beat Jan, so I'll be doing the same here. Jiri is going to bring relentless pressure, but the only concern for me is if he makes the first 2/3 connections. Jiri has an uncanny ability to find the mark every single time after he lands the first combination, and that could make him champ rn (but I would back Rakic to beat Prochazka), but I see Glover eventually timing a double leg and taking it to the mats. Teixeira has the best mount game at LHW, and once he mounts you, it's a wrap essentially. I see him finding his timing and eventually the neck of Prochazka. Still think Jiri is a future champ!

Going with experience over KO power here since apparently Glover in the late stage of his career is apparently immune to power punchers. Guess we'll see what happens here.

Will be interesting to see how Whittaker's grappling holds up here because Vettori has a definite path to victory here where he can even come out looking dominant, but I'm gonna go with Whittaker catching him since I think Vettori gets a bit lazy as the fight goes on.
