I like how he refers to it as "the apex cage" yet asks if it's being used outside the Apex lol

I watch every UFC event. I Buy every UFC pay per view including this one. I am rarely disappointed but this card is not Pay per view caliber. Maybe I am wrong but thats my opinion. ESPN is charging too much to not have 6 or 7 top ten fighters on the card

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 565 Points   |   Tied for 1660th

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, TKO, R1
Most likely the lock of the card. I think Holland will **** up Cowboy who hasn't look good in years. Who know what would of happen in the Daukaus fight because the headbutt happen early???. And Vettori and Brunson are the 2 worst matchup for him in the UFC, Now he fight Alex Olivera. Expeting a first round finish by either club and sub, Or KO

Rodriguez vs. Yan
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
I think Marina Rodriguez should win, As she is just a better version of Xionon Yan. But I think the line is kinda wack, I'm expecting a close war on the feet where Marina slightly win, More 60-40 then 80-20, Xianoan is not a bad dog as it WMMA. This should be fight of the night. So exited for this

Moroz vs. Agapova
Mariya Agapova, TKO, R3
I'm taking Agapova because it must be hard for Moroz to focus becuase of what happening in her home country, All her friend are family will be in Ukrain, If the war didn't happen, I might still pick Agapova slightly, But the war is the nail in the coffin

Nurmagomedov vs. Kelleher
Umar Nurmagomedov, TKO, R3
I think Umar is going to win everywhere, All this Nurmagomedov are kickboxer now, Not like Khabib, But they also have Khabib teaching them **** so you know they know how to grapple. I'm expecting Umar to do some Kung Fu **** and get a sick KO

Klein vs. Smith
Ľudovít Klein, TKO, R1
I think this is a 50-50 and someone is getting KO'd, I think Smith has better hands and better cardio, Klein has better kick and is more durable. I take Klein as I think Smith is fragile and Klein hit really hard but if he survive the first Smith will put it on him.- Honestly Smith by 2nd and or 3rd round Ko is not a bad prop

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, TKO, R1
If Kevin can’t get a big knock out here i don’t think he’s ever going to be top 10 he needs a first round ko

Rodriguez vs. Yan
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
XIAONAN YAN Is a bit overrated hasn’t really beat anyone at the top who best win is Claudia Gadelha then Angela Hill and hasn’t gotten a finch In the ufc on the other hand Rodriguez has beaten Michelle Waterson and Mackenzie Dern pretty easy and also knock out Amanda Ribas Last year so I think a pretty easy 30-27 win for marina

Moroz vs. Agapova
Mariya Agapova, DEC
Don’t care

Nurmagomedov vs. Kelleher
Umar Nurmagomedov, TKO, R2
UMAR NURMAGOMEDOV Is just better everywhere to me

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tagir Ulanbekov, SUB, R3
Both to me aren’t that good but I think Tim elliott is over the hill

Jacoby vs. Oleksiejczuk
Michał Oleksiejczuk, TKO, R2
I think MICHAŁ OLEKSIEJCZUK has the power and stand up to be able to tko Dustin he’s to easy to hit for me

Predictions: 11 of 13 Winners, 5 Perfect, 715 Points   |   Tied for 161st

Covington vs. Masvidal
Colby Covington, DEC
Whether you like him on no, Colby Covington is one of the best welterweights right now. Covington wins this fight 9 out of 10 times. Masvidal has to get a finish or he will definitely lose a decision. i genuinly like Masvidal and ge is genuinely a decent fighter but i think he is now buying into his own sauce a bit much now. highly skilled dont get me wrong but he really is biting off more than he chew here. He got sparked badly by usman last time out and i think colby take a domiant wrestling decision in this one. Would be a huge shock if Masvidal KO`d him for the win but anything can happen. im just going with the far safer pick.

dos Anjos vs. Moicano
Rafael dos Anjos, TKO, R4
Fair play to Moicano coming in on short notice but his lack of 5 round fights will be his downfall here. RDA`s proved he is very hard to finish and the main way that Moicano gets his wins by finish are submission, RDA has never been submitted. link this with the short notice and Moicano`s tendancy to get tired later into fights i think RDA picks up a late finish in round 4 or 5. im going to say round 4.

Barboza vs. Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell, DEC
Thug nasty all day! Love Barboza but age catches up with everyone, i think Mitchell wrestle f*cks him draging him into deep water relentlessly untill he sinks something in late on or the bell rings for the end of the fight. domiant decision win or a late submission finish. im saying Barboza survives just but ends up on the wrong side of a 30-27 score card.

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, TKO, R2
Kevin holland has been training his wrestling big time. We all know the bloke is legit in the stand up and wrestling was the area he has been exposed in. now he has commited to the welterweight division i believe he has been give and old Oliveira as a bit of a leg up to get off to a rolling start. I think this will be pretty one sided and although i see him winning by decision, i like hollands power at welterweight and going to back him to start this new run off with a bang and get the finish in round 2.

Spivak vs. Hardy
Greg Hardy, TKO, R1
this is a 50/50 coin flip to how this goes. Hardy either comes out hot and catches Spivak whilst he is cold and KO`s him quick in brutal fashion or Spivak survives long enough to get hardy to the ground and as we saw last time out, Hardy could look anymore out of place on his back. i think that Hardy isnt given the credit he deserves for his stand up and his TDD in the first round. the bloke is very strong, he biggest downfall is his cardio, once that is gone is when he falls apart everywhere else but for the first round atleast he is a beast. Just for entertainment factor i am going with the underdog to get Spivak out of there in the first before hes had the chance to get him to the floor. would at all be suprised to see Spivak win this though especially if the fight gets out of round 1.

Turner vs. Mullarkey
Jalin Turner, DEC
Mullarkey impressed me in his last 2 fight getting a big KO over Devonte Smith and Khama Worthy. i would however put those KO`s down more to the weak chins of the fighters more than Mullarkey`s power, i dont see him doing that to Turner. Turner is on a good run of form recently and i am backing that form to continue. Mullarkey has proven himself difficult to finish by KO and i believe he has the wrestling credentials to avoid being sub`d and so i am going to play the safer option and say Turner picks up a decision win.

Rodriguez vs. Yan
Marina Rodriguez, TKO, R2
Rodriguez is a beast and a serious contender. Yan is decent but not on her level. Yan may well see this through to the judges but i am going to say that rodriguez catches her and finsihes the job in the second.

Negumereanu vs. Nzechukwu
Nick Negumereanu, DEC
If Nzechukwu could put everything together he is built to literally be a beast!! at 6ft 5 with an 83 inch reach he literally is made for this yet he just doesnt seem to have IT. whether that be bad coaching im not sure but his fight IQ certainly leaves a lot to be desired. some of his decision making is atrocious! i will give credit to his win against Carlos Ulberg as a very talented kick boxer so credit where it is due with that one. Given the advantages he has in thius fight against Nick Negumereanu he should be able to get the victory here quite easily, 5 inches of height advantage aswell as 5 inches of reach is very big benefits to have, coupled with the fact that Nzechukwu should definitley be the much bigger man come fight night he should certainly have the strength advantage. With all this said i still cannot have faith in him to stick to a game plan that would get him the win. so i am siding with Negumereanu.

Moroz vs. Agapova
Maryna Moroz, DEC
As female fights go, this will be an alright one to watch, both decent fighters with good potential. Agapova concerned me in her fight against shana dobson when she gassed badly after round 1 but i put that down to her age and wanting so badly to have a big statement KO win and gassed herself out in the search for it all in round 1. She proved herself in her last outing against Sabina Mazo submitting her and although this will be a close fight i will give the edge to Agapova and have her as the slightly more well rounded fighter and see her getting her hand raised at the end.

Nurmagomedov vs. Kelleher
Umar Nurmagomedov, SUB, R2
Umar Nurmagomedov should school Kelleher in this one and really dominate him on the ground and eventually lock up a submission. im going to say he gets it done in round 2 after Kelleher spends a lot of round 1 on his back but manages to survive only to be submitted in the 2nd round.

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
I dont like Time Elliot..... lets get that out there first. Ulanbekov has certainly not looked like an unbeatable force in his 2 ufc fights however he has looked good enough to give me confidence that he can beat Tim Elliot and quite possibly send him packing from the UFC. He trains with Khabib which is always a big plus. i see him coasting out a dominant decision win.

Klein vs. Smith
Ľudovít Klein, TKO, R1
Very difficult match up to call. Both have very good power and can turn the lights off quick. Both will want to keep this fight standing and fancy themself to be the better in the striking department, Smith will have a 4 inch reach advantage that Klein will have to work he way inside of but i think the big factor here is the questions around Smith`s chin. He seems to be a kill or be kill kind of fighter and although i can see either fighter KO`ing the other i would put more faith in Klein catching smith based on his lacking ability to eat a hard clean shot.

Jacoby vs. Oleksiejczuk
Dustin Jacoby, DEC
Dustin Jacoby is the better fighter here and it better form, both coming off successive wins but Jacoby more so. he the taller and longer fighter and has very good TDD. should be a comfortable decision win for Jacoby and i expect to see plenty of calf kick thrown.

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 530 Points   |   Tied for 2238th

Covington vs. Masvidal
Jorge Masvidal, TKO, R2
Jorge Masvidal - Yes. I know. ****. This could easily be a five round domination for Colby. My head tells me that that is almost definitely going to happen. We're usually not allowed too many nice things in MMA. But **** if Jorge doesn't have a chance though! Masvidal has impeccable fight IQ. Incredibly intelligent striking. His switch step to overhand left he took out Till with was ******* heart-breaking as an Englishman, but beautiful as a fight fan. His takedown defence is pretty ******* good, his team knows everything about Colby and his elbows in the clinch are ******* EVIL. I think (or maybe I just hope, who the **** knows...) that he starches Colby. If it goes passed the third I think it's Colby's fight all day. Jesus christ what a mess. 🔴 55% (DEC 38% - FIN 12%) 🔵 45% (DEC 5% - FIN 40%)

dos Anjos vs. Moicano
Rafael dos Anjos, TKO, R2
Rafael dos Anjos - At first I was thinking this should be easy money but Moicano's skill set on the mat might just be enough to get RDA to second guess the choice to wrestle or not. On the feet RDA isn't super diverse with his weapons or his stance (he's pretty much exclusively southpaw), but Renato ain't surviving three rounds, let alone five. I think Moicano is going to come out like a bat out of hell and gas. I reckon he's got maybe 5 to 7 minutes in him. And we all know RDA is tough as ****. RDA should get this done if he survives the first 5 minutes. FDGTD fo' sho'. 🔴 70% (DEC 21% - FIN 49%) 🔵 30% (DEC 2% - FIN 28%)

Barboza vs. Mitchell
Edson Barboza, DEC
**** MAN! Edson Barboza - So I really want Bryce to win this one! He's super likeable, has excellent grappling and is based as ****. He's not a pressure fighter though! He enters in the pocket and goes for single legs. Barboza has decent takedown defence. Bryce has to get close to him in order to nullify Edson's main weapons. If he gets him down he wins. I'm just not sure if he will. Plus Mitchell's southpaw, which opens him up for body kicks to the liver. Bryce is tough as **** so I don't think Barboza finishes him, but I think Bryce is going to have a tough first and third round. I'll be putting something on Thug Nasty (maybe by decision) too but my heart is weak and Barboza is a ******* veteran of his craft. 🔴 50% (DEC 30% - FIN 20%) 🔵 50% (DEC 25% - FIN 25%)

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, TKO, R1
Kevin Holland - Obviously this is big mouth's one to lose. And he won't. Of course he won't. He's way taller, he uses his reach really well, he's younger, he has less scar tissue and can take the cleanest of shots. Cowboy is great, if he's not a fan favourite he ******* should be, but the UFC do this to him all the time - "here buddy, here's a young new fella in the division who's incredibly promising. Go out there and get murdered by him!" Holland (outside of Nurmagomedov) has to be the biggest favourite on the card! Holland by TKO for easy ******' money! 🔴 80% (DEC 24% - FIN 56%) 🔵 20% (DEC 13% - FIN 7%)

Spivak vs. Hardy
Greg Hardy, TKO, R1
Greg Hardy - Hardy has ****** my picks before, and will probably **** this one up as well. Sergey's plan is pretty ******' obvious - take him down and **** him 'til he taps or dies. Greg Hardy is really ******* strong though AND Sergey has a history of not recovering well from taking heavy shots. Hardy is still very green - Sergey is young but moves much better on the feet. I'm probably wrong here but I think Hardy catches him early and takes his head off. I would like it if they stopped putting Hardy on the main card though - Marina and Yan deserve this spot way more. 🔴 55% (DEC 13% - FIN 42%) 🔵 45% (DEC 1% - FIN 44%)

Turner vs. Mullarkey
Jalin Turner, DEC
Jalin Turner - **** man! This one is going to be mad. Jamie Mullarkey is a ******* stud, a gremlin, has heart for days and is a great all-rounder. Turner is a problem for this division though! He's tall, uses his reach well and has a bit of an Anderson Silva-lite vibe to him. They're both on win streaks, all those wins came by an early finish. The momentum is swinging. I think this goes the distance with a bang. Jalin has never won a fight that's gone to the third round. I think this fight is when MMA maths goes and ****s itself. Very close fight, probably a parlay buster so be warned. 🔴 50% (DEC 35% - FIN 15%) 🔵 50% (DEC 25% - FIN 25%)

Rodriguez vs. Yan
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
Marina Rodriguez - Yan Xiaonan is good. Great in fact. She also lost for the first time in over 10 years in her last outing and emphatically too. Marina has CRAZY good muay thai, she's super effective in the clinch with her knees and she's pretty darn durable on the feet. What's for certain is that this will likely go to decision... maybe? Marina is seriously dangerous on the feet and you know she's been drilling non-stop takedown defence during camp. I have a feeling that Yan won't be mentally recovered from her recent loss and she'll become too jittery in there. Marina takes this one 30-27. 🔴 60% (DEC 42% - FIN 18%) 🔵 40% (DEC 36% - FIN 4%

Negumereanu vs. Nzechukwu
Nick Negumereanu, TKO, R2
Nick Negumereanu - Right, this one is going to be ******* sloppy. I predict an absolute ****-show. Kennedy Nzechukwu has this weird thing where he just shells up and takes shots against the fence and then gets that second wind to knock his gassed opponent out. Negumereanu however hits really ******* hard and Kennedy got knocked the **** out not that long ago. Negumereanu doesn't take many risks and can wrestle (even if he's like an upside down turtle on his back). The thing is - Nick's opponent's total record on the regional circuit is 37-81 (69-96 overall - nice). Kennedy could plum him in the second or third but I'm banking on him to be ****** long before then. Negumereanu by a pretty savage bit of ground and pound. 🔴 60% (DEC 27% - FIN 33%) 🔵 40% (DEC 22% - FIN 18%)

Moroz vs. Agapova
Maryna Moroz, SUB, R3
Maryna Moroz - Listen! Just ******* listen, okay! Agapova should absolutely win this fight on paper. She hits hard, she's learned to be more patient, she's in a proper camp now - Agapova has all the cards in the deck to win this fight. The thing is; Moroz is ******* tough! She's absolutely got the better ground game. She's Ukrainian, so with all that **** going on I think she's going to be extra fuelled up. I think she's going to take Agapova down, put her on her back and ******* maul her whilst imagining she's Putin or some ****. I don't think this fight goes the distance. I think Agapova will survive 'til the third and when she's just ******' gassed the **** out, Moroz just ground and pounds her 'til she either stops defending herself intelligently or gives up her back. 🔴 55% (DEC 23% - FIN 32%) 🔵 45% (DEC 26% - FIN 19%)

Nurmagomedov vs. Kelleher
Umar Nurmagomedov, SUB, R1
Umar Nurmagomedov - This is a no-brainer really. Kelleher has taken this fight on short notice, he's got it booked at featherweight so Umar doesn't have to cut the weight either. Umar should get this done. I genuinely don't know how he does it. I'd like to think Kelleher can survive all three rounds as he's a ******' stud. But Umar is slick with them rear naked chokes and has that speedy head kick that he doesn't telegraph at all. This is Nurmagomedov's all day! 🔴 30% (DEC 15% - FIN 15%) 🔵 70% (DEC 35% - FIN 35%)

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tim Elliott, DEC
Tim Elliott - THIS IS TOO CLOSE TO CALL!!! Ulanbekov is obviously good. He's one of those combat-sambo fighters that is fairly comfortable on the feet. If all common sense prevails you should probably go for him over Tim. However(!) Tim is such a difficult guy to read and he's very super hard to try and bring in guys to replicate. For him to win he can't make mistakes or coast but considering what happened against Nicolau Matteau I can't see him making that same mistake in a row. This is 100% going the distance but if you're brave Tim Elliott is one of the most underrated guys on the roster. 🔴 50% (DEC 40% - FIN 10%) 🔵 50% (DEC 36% - FIN 14%)

Klein vs. Smith
Devonte Smith, TKO, R2
Devonte Smith - L'udovit Klien was a promising prospect for the UFC, and to be fair he's called Mr. Highlight for a reason. He has devastating head kicks and decent wrestling. On a standard meeting this would be a lot closer. However Klien has taken this fight on maybe two weeks notice and will likely have a hard time making the weight. Devonte Smith has a goddamn powerful right hand and is patient with his explosiveness. Devonte has never been to a decision before and I think this pattern continues. Smith should probably get this done before the third round. 🔴 65% (DEC 18% - FIN 42%) 🔵 35% (DEC 15% - FIN 20%)

Jacoby vs. Oleksiejczuk
Michał Oleksiejczuk, TKO, R1
Michel Oleskiejczuk - This is a pretty close one, man. Dustin Jacoby is a damn good kickboxer and his kicks are ******* fire. The thing Jacoby (like most kickboxers) needs the space and the forward motion to be able to let his shots go. Michel is an incredibly aggressive fighter, constantly in his opponent's face. He's a herky-jerky mover with a surprising amount of power for his frame. The guy is really a middleweight with a gut. He's quicker and applies a ton of pressure. Jacoby has a habit of leaving himself open mid-combination. I reckon Michel gets it done and does so before the judges can get involved. 🔴 45% (DEC 10% - FIN 35%) 🔵 55% (DEC 8% - FIN 47%)

I have heard a lot of people talk about Greg Hardys take down defence. But who has he defended a take down against? From what I remember Tybura only really attempted takedowns late and got them. But he held him against the cage for as long as he wanted. Maybe I am remembering the fight wrong but I think thats how it went.

Who else are the wrestlers that Greg Hardy has fought against? Carlos Felipe? Maurice Green? Ben Sosoli? Tai Tuivasa?

Not buying it. Unless he gets lucky with a KO blow in R1 I think Spivak will rag doll him,

My locks of the card are Tagir Ulanbekov, Umar Nurmagomedov (unbettable odds), RDA, Holland, Marina Rodriguez. I am not putting Spivak in there because of the punchers chance and the fact he is slow.

Other really good bets imo are Colby, Bryce Mitchell, Jamie Mullarkey.

Was very confident before about Jacoby but now I feel this fight is risky. Similarly with Devonte Smith I feel Klein could win this.

Good bets

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 545 Points   |   Tied for 2027th

As I only bet on parlays I thought I would throw out some bets I think are good parlay legs or even straight bets. Hopefully most of them hit.

1. Covington money line / Fight to start R3 (I have a sneaky feeling Colby could get a late finish)
2. RDA money line / over 1.5
3. Mitchell money line / Mitchell by submission/ Mitchell R2 & 3
4. Holland money line and Holland inside the distance (both KO and sub are possible imo)/ FTNGD
5. Spivak inside the distance (TKO and sub both possible) and FTNGD
6. Mullarkey money line / FTNGD
7. Rodriguez money line / Fight to start round 3
8. Agapova/Moroz over 1.5
9. Kennedy/Negumereanu  over 1.5
10. Umar inside the distance
11. Tagir money line / fight to start R2
12. Klein/Smith FTNGD
13. Jacoby/Michel over 1.5

Good luck with your bets!

thanks man I will have to look closely into that, I had the impression that Moicano will be much smaller seeing he fought at FW and RDA has fought a lot at 170.

Still think even if he is bigger there is a striking, cardio and wrestling advantage to RDA.

I was looking at it and statistically, moicano has the better stats. Higher volume, better striking defense, better striking accuracy, better tdd, and better tda. Now sure, RDA has the experience advantage and it isn’t close, but moicano isn’t fighting cans either. He’s still putting up good stats against decent competition. He’s also been using his wrestling a lot more at 155. He has a combined 8 tdd at 155 compared to this run at 145 where he only had 4 total takedowns. We know RDAs weakness is wrestlers so we will see how he uses it here.

Having seconds thoughts about picking RDA.

Rodriguez is the best striker (or at least one of them) at 115. Don’t seeing her losing a fight where her opponent won’t take her down. Plus marina is fighting (and beating) better competition. Yan is also coming off of a complete domination of a loss to Carla Esparza

Ayylmao nailed it

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 580 Points   |   Tied for 1434th

Yan is a good fighter but Rodriguez is an entire tier above her. This is literally a hold over fight to keep her active while Esparza fights Rose. Marina has already arguably done enough to earn a title shot and will fight the winner.

I'm probably talking Marina by finish.
