The headliners only get ppv if there a star or a champion which Colby is neither.. just like Whittaker didn’t get ppv points in his last fight challening Adesanya. He just got his show and maybe a bonus after that

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 5 Perfect, 590 Points   |   Tied for 1285th

Dustin Jacoby vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk
Oleksiejczuk, TKO, R2
The Hussar's striking defense gets him past the first round.  His aggression gets him more knockdowns.

Devonte Smith vs. Ludovit Klein
Klein, SUB, R2
This was the hardest fight to call on the card, IMO.  I think Klein's power shot rocks Smith, and Klein grabs the neck for the sub while Smith is down.

Tim Elliott vs. Tagir Ullanbekov
Elliott, DEC
I find this match even more on the nose with respect to current events and the rest of the card than the Moroz pick.  Ullanbekov just doesn't seem to perform up to Dagestani wrestling standards, whereas Elliott does credit to Covington's Division 1 wrestling pedigree.  Usually, Dagestan > US wrestling, but not in the case.

Brian Kelleher vs. Umar Nurmagomedov
Nurmagomedov, SUB, R2
And then order, in the wrestling world, will be restored.

Maryna Moroz vs. Mariya Agapova
Agapova, DEC
I'm sure there's some cosmic balance between skill and balance, and may sometimes tip towards skill, but on Saturday it tips to power--power in the form of takedowns and knockdowns.

Nicolae Negumereanu vs. Kennedy Nzechukwu
Nzechukwu, TKO, R1
Unless his balls get viciously mauled again, Nzechukwu's huge height and reach advantage make this his striking contest to lose.

Marina Rodriguez vs. Yan Xianan
Rodriguez, DEC
Rodriguez doesn't have the wrestling for the mount.  Rodriguez doesn't have the power for, and Xianan's boxing is too good for, the TKO.  Ergo, decision, Rodriguez.

Jalin Turner vs. Jamie Mullarkey
Mullarkey, TKO, R1
Another super close fight, but I think Mullarkey has a slight boxing edge.  If Turner gets the takedown, I could be well-****** with this pick.

Sergei Spivak vs. Greg Hardy
Spivak, SUB, R2
Banking everything on Hardy not having good enough take down defense.

Kevin Holland vs. Alex Oliveira
Holland, DEC
Kevin Holland's one of my all-time favorite fighters in this sport.  I'm not good at being impartial.  I do think the weight cut's to his advantage, but he'd still be awesome at heavyweight. <3

Edson Barbosa vs. Bryce Mitchell

Mitchell, DEC
Mitchell by superior control time.  No finish, because Barboza won't allow it.  Also, Mitchell might have to finish without a head.

Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Renato Moicano
Dos Anjos, DEC
Old man strength, knowledge, and wisdom... for the win!

Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal
Covington, DEC
I am down with chaos gods, but Covington doesn't bring chaos; he brings control.  By Jorge and all that's holy, this is going to be less than half as exciting as I'd hoped it would be!

Spivac should win this fight.  He can strike, wrestle and submit opponents.  Hardy only has one way to win and that is by TKO. Spivac has also shown that he can recover after being brutally knocked out in his previous fight when he beat Tai Tuivasa after the Walt Harris TKO loss.  Also Spivac's wins in the UFC are against better competition; whenever Hardy has fought a higher level of competition, he has lost.

Gotta roll with Spivac for this one.  Maybe by Submission?  Once Hardy is on the ground, he becomes helpless.  And I believe that this one will hit the floor at some point.  Hardy also has a gas tank problem as we saw in the Tybura fight.  If Spivac goes grapple heavy, Hardy will be done.

If we leave the first round, Spivak should definitely find a way to get it to the ground - or even just out-work him - and win.

But if I'm being honest, as unpopular as it is, I don't like Spivak's chances of taking Hardy down in the first few minutes and I can count on Greg to put it on him early. Plus, his defense isn't trustworthy enough for me to see anything besides Hardy landing a nuclear hook and scoring a highlight

@GreenTeaEnthusiast, I think maybe Spivac gets him down in the 2nd round.  The 1st round will be both guys throwing bombs at each other with Hardy connecting with some decent shots but ultimately Spivac should survive.  Round 2 Spivac may get him on the ground with Hardy's depleted gas tank and either submit him or full mount him to a TKO win with Hardy covering up for a ref stoppage.

Anyone being confident in Hardy is ******* hysterical

His entire existence is "punchers chance", and not just in the cage.

Covington vs. Masvidal
Colby Covington, TKO, R2
i see colby KOing him to make a statement or maybe because jorge will be aggressive.

Rodriguez vs. Yan
Xiaonan Yan, DEC
yan will comeback with a huge win

Negumereanu vs. Nzechukwu
Nick Negumereanu, TKO, R1
kennedy is a notoriously slow starter and his last fight was just weird.

Moroz vs. Agapova
Mariya Agapova, TKO, R2
agapova has underrated striking tbh. maryna is decent but agapova has good power.

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tim Elliott, SUB, R1
tbh i could see tagir just laying him and winning by decision via control time, but i believe tim elliot has been improving his last couple fights and should outstrike him and maybe can catch a submission in the grappling

Klein vs. Smith
Ľudovít Klein, TKO, R1
Smith is POWERFUL but tbh i dont trust his chin against ufc caliber strikers, also Klein has good cardio, good chin and wrestling.
