Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 580 Points   |   Tied for 1434th

Your last sentence is exactly why I'm saying Greg Hardy will  probably end up in Bellator.

You can't walk around at 310lbs and then try to drop ~30lbs in a few days expecting to perform well. Its not so much about professionalism as it is just about science. Greg Hardy is never going to really be able to compete with good heavyweights because he's dead after a round.

It's not like it's not understandable. The guy played football his entire life. Short bursts of all out effort interrupted by whistles. Big difference from 3 five minute rounds of MMA. Does he always have a punchers chance? Pretty much any heavyweight does with all the power these guys have. But I can't realistically pick him over Spivak who, in my opinion, is a way better all around fighter.

Fair enough. I just keep going back to the tuivasa fight; we saw how tai ate bombs from lewis and the fact that hardy had him on skates speaks to the power he has. We also know spivak doesn’t like to get hit so I imagine he gets hit like that, he’s either shooting for a takedown or going out

Lmao " he will get Hardy down easily." Its like people forgot Hardy is literally a 6th round draft pick who ended up being a beast for the cowboys. Every play he was literally double teamed by men way bigger than any UFC HW.

Damn good wrestler because HW doesn't really have any damn good wrestlers anymore. People underestimate how much power and strength Hardy has.

Realistically the only way I side with Spivak is simply due to where he is at on a win streak, training with Francis and Xtreme Couture. Hardy's working with Rashad Evans but don't know who's really coaching him anymore.

he has that yea. hardys only real losses(the dq dosent count) are to top 10 guys so his losses have aged well.
and all of hardys wins have aged poorly, none of the guys he beat are still in the promotion.

idk man its a tough one. if spivak can make it to round 2 he can def win this

I think Hardy’s tdd holds up for the first, but once he gasses then he will be susceptible to be taken down. He was defending well against tybura until he gassed. The outcome of this fight really depends on the round. If it’s the first, it’s anyones game but outside the first, it favors spivak more and more

He’s gonna be a lot faster than spivak too. He might be a big guy but he’s agile from playing football and is also freakishly athletic. People can dislike him but there’s no denying he’s a fantastic athlete

I'm planning on live betting spivak after round 1 (either at break or a bit into round 2)

I see 1 of 4 things happening with that....

1.Hardy KOs him in the first and it doesn't matter
2. Spivak gets TDs early and often and the live line is unbettable like -500
3. Pre gassed Hardy makes the first round competitive and maybe hurts spivak a few times, making the line bettable maybe even close to pick em if lucky, and then spivak turns up the pace and gets hardy out of there late second or third.
4. Same as 3 but Spivak goes with a low output safe gameplan to just grind a decision. Seen him do this before and it's what is keeping me from betting no distance.

Hoping for either 3 or 4.

I’m not saying Anjos is a ***** or anything, but I do find it very strange despite being offered opportunities to fight two top ranked opponents, he took Moicano instead. Kinda weird.

Covington vs. Masvidal
Jorge Masvidal, TKO, R2
Everyone in mma wants to see this dude get put to sleep. Masvidal can beat him easily in a stand up fight. I have a feeling Colby will go back to his old ways and lay on him playing touch butt for 5 rounds. I’m still rolling with masvidal though. Fuq Colby

dos Anjos vs. Moicano
Renato Moicano, SUB, R3
Moicano Has been running through legit fighters lately. A lot of people are sleeping on him in this fight.

Barboza vs. Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell, DEC
This fight can go either way. I really like Mitchell And he has a bright future in the division. That being said though, he has a tough fight on his hands. Don’t see him submitting Barboza but I do think he’s capable of getting the win

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, TKO, R2
Who doesn’t like Kevin Holland? Dude is a beast. Knockout inside 10 minutes

Moroz vs. Agapova
Maryna Moroz, DEC
I’m rolling Moroz on this one. After leaving her family behind in Ukraine I think she finds a way to get the W

Nurmagomedov vs. Kelleher
Umar Nurmagomedov, SUB, R2
Another example of Russian dominance in mma

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
Elliot is an og of the game but these Russians are on a different level

Klein vs. Smith
Devonte Smith, TKO, R2
Devonte is a beast and a real prospect at LW. Small setback in his fight. Major comeback in his return. Knockout within 10 min

@ayylmao Lol I told you Ali was behind Islam's tweets. Now Dana said he has to fight Dariush next because he turned down this fight. Ali really ****** this one up

“Since he turned down this fight, we’re going to remake the Dariush fight. We’ll get that fight going. Dying to see that fight. He gets through Dariush, very interesting.”
