I got Puelles by sub or decision. Younger , taller and rangier fighter, all benefits his gameplan to take em down and smother em.

Plus his win over Leavett was pretty impressive considering Jordans wrestling/JJ background. Pretty comfortable taking Puelles.

yeah it was a good win but leavitt is still a very green fighter. you could see he was content to lay on his back the whole time because he knows how to play defensive bjj. useful in a bjj match, not so much in an mma match. puelles is still solid dont get me wrong, but Jordan is a very inexperienced fighter. tons of upside for him too; 3 fight win streak and hes only 25. might not be the most exciting fighter but he will probably end up having a solid career

Everyone is ******

Predictions: 3 of 9 Winners, 1 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 3374th

Clay

This is just bad matchmaking. I get it though, the UFC has no ******* idea what to do with Leonardo. He comes and goes like a father from the ghetto. Clay gets caught in a choke and dies instantly.

Jamahal

I simply did not understand the hype around this guy during the buildup to the Paul Craig fight. He beat Ovince? Wooptie ******’ doo, so has half the LHW roster. Jamahal is an okay striker and a non-existent grappler as far as research tells me. Maybe he’s improved it since his last defeat but a couple months of jiu-jitsu ain’t gonna do **** against a grappler like Crute. Jamahal is gonna get manhandled like the bottom bunk prison roommate.

Matthews

Cause **** em’.

Zhalgas and Kape

Ends in a draw.

I'll agree. Jordans stand up is amateur but his wrestling and BJJ is semi pro lol.

Oh yeah, Jamahal is gonna have a tramp stamp with Crute’s name on it by the time he’s done. He’s gonna do his best Macho Man impression and tell Jamahal: “I’m a slim Jim and I’m about to slip into you, brother”

Okay, I’m done, no more **** jokes

Crute believes he see's opening's in Hill's Boxing. Going to be interesting to see if he initiate's the takedown early or decides to stand for most of it.

If he stands , I believe he can KO em. Dude has wild power. Especially if he faints a TD and has Hill drop his guard .

sabbath ive probably dedicated 5 pages on this thread about crute vs hill. but the reason there's hype on jahmahl is his striking is phenominal. hes got a very long reach and has the second highest volume in the division behind jiri, paired with great shot selection; he will attack every part of the body with every part of his body. Body shots, punches, kicks, elbows, knees, you name it. Just look at his striking numbers, you dont outstrike people like that, regardless of competition without having some level of skill. he also lands 52% on 7.5 strikes per minute

I think Jamahal is a good striker *for a light heavyweight*. I credit his striking accuracy due more to his opponents being punching bags. Plus, he’s only four fights in. Irene Aldana’s used to have takedown defense accuracy on par with Jon ******* Jones, until she faced Holly Holm. Sometimes, these stats are not a matter of skill, it’s a matter of matchups. Will Jamahal end up in a similar fashion? Maybe, guy is clearly talented so I’m willing to eat **** if that’s the case, but it’s not enough to put faith in him against Crute.

The striking accuracy you are probably right on, but the volume and selection of the punches also plays a role. Fighters can’t block a lot of the shots because of his shot selection. goes back to what I said about his shot variation, its hard for people to know which weapon he is going to use next, combined with the fact that he can put a crazy pace. I get that he’s fighting bad completion, but look at the numbers. He’s still putting a crazy pace on his opponents and is putting up crazy numbers against them: 93-38, 101-31, 14-5 (1 minute ko), 68-36. Regardless of who he’s fighting those are pretty impressive numbers.

There’s not many fighters than can do that to their opponents numbers wise. Look at any other ranked lhw and look at their striking stats. Even look at their fights before fighting ranked guys and you will see no one puts up numbers like that; even against worse opponents than what hill is fighting

You gotta look at consistency too. He’s consistently doing this to people he faces. Again, yes they are lower level comp but even other ranked lhws weren’t consistently putting these numbers up when they were facing unranked competition
