Too blood thirsty Fish....I want neither. thankfully Millender is matched up & Luque deserves somebody big.
Apparently Ismagulov got pretty banged up in his masterful performance...could be out awhile

Yeah that's true. If Luque didn't earn a big one off that slobberknocker with Barby then I don't know what else he can do TBH. Maybe Zaleski? I dunno.

I like Font/Yan (Lineker is booked, right?) and Gregor/Ferreira a lot. Perfect step up for Gregor, imposing serious sub and ko threat. If he gets clipped the. Goes sloppy for a td or just gets swept, Ferreira will sleep ya.
What about Magney/Naurdiev?

Ehhhh I dunno Swain. That's quite a jump from Trator. I think Magny is ranked like 12 or something. Granted he just got whooped by Ponzi, but he's still pretty good. Well, maybe he is. I dunno. It's quite possible he wasn't able to recover all the fragments of his knees, shinbones and brain matter from the rafters of the stadium after the Ponzi fight. Still, he's only dropped two of his last 5, one to Ponzi and one to RDA, both forgivable.
That said he's also kind of a turd blowing in the wind at this point, so I wouldn't hate seeing Naurdiev fast-tracked with that fight. Absolutely zilch in that one for Niel, anyway.

Yea, I know what you’re saying and agree from one angle. On the other hand, I think Magney has peeked. He’s a career overachiever, and I mean that as a compliment. Proven me wrong more than two occasions. On top of that, he’s not super marketable but is recognizable.
Placing Naurdiev against Magney can help put the youngsters name on the map. I think he’d whoop Neil. Even if I’m dead wrong, it’s not a fight that burns him too bad either. Magneys last win was Craig White. Is that a far better prospect than a 22 yr old kid who just whooped Prazeres’ ass?
The way i see it, it’s a good way to let the kid showcase his talent. He’s the exact mold of fighter you want to promote and market. Even an exciting loss to Magney puts his face out there without killing his notoriety at his age.
Your probably right in the conventional way of booking it....but from another perspective, I like the gamble in that match up.

Yeah, Magney has definitely peaked and I know what you mean. He's been around forever, he's beaten some good guys ( former champ in Hendricks, Current MW challenger in Gasman, Lombard, Condit) but for whatever reason he's just never been a good draw and never will be. It's not as if he's boring either. I don't know what it is. He's kind of just always....there, like potato salad at family gatherings.
And I also think he'd whoop Neil. Might not get a finish because Magny has a good chin for a breadstick of a WW (or did at least) but yeah, I'd take Naurdiev all day long in that one. And you're right really. I mean Magny's not going to the top 5. They gave Hernandez Cowboy so why the hell not.

OWW is interesting enough where you have Brazilian Cowboy, Mein, Jouban, Luque, Perry and a few others who are serious high level gatekeepers. They might never be champ but a great test for young prospects. There’s a bunch of fun potential fun fights for this kid.

@Wasteland... I read that article you put a thread on about Diego Ferreíra's social media being hacked. He wasn't the only one it happened to going into this fight.. Also happened to Gillian Robertson

@MassaBruce... I am a little mad my picks are always a raging ****** dumpster fire, but even if Prázeres won... I still wouldn't have said he deserves a top 10 guy. That's ridiculous thought process. There's plenty of killers out there, THAT AREN'T RANKED, that would destroy Prázeres...

@brad this is what you posted about the match-up
Prazeres vs. Naurdiev
Michel Prazeres, DEC
Maaaaan.... What a tough draw for your UFC debut. Still better draw than Lando & Horcher had in their debuts. A win would be a tough task to complete, Prázeres has ONLY lost twice in 28 scraps. We'll see I guess. Goood luck Naurdiev, you're gonna need some
You did damn good on picking the card, hell most people did but trying to take anything away from Naurdiev is just pure idiocy. Prazares has only lost 3 times in 29 fights and has never been finished but now its "there's plenty that could beat him and Naurdiev should've finished him"....yea, no.
All good man. Moving on.
