******** booking. They are clearly looking to get the Ngannou Hype train back on the rails. Hope Blaydes takes him down and hellbows him to death.

Really? I feel like the UFC are looking to bury N'Gannou. Their first encounter was Blaydes' UFC debut. He's riding high right now. I think the UFC think they can make Blaydes a bigger draw if they can have him avenge his only loss prior to fighting for the belt. If you're ever going to fight N'Gannou, now's the perfect time. You don't want to fight him down the road after he's knocked out a couple HW scrubs and has his confidence back.

Blaydes has had 6 UFC fights, he's 5-1, and N'Gannou was his debut fight while N'Gannou is 6-2 in 8 UFC fights and the Blaydes fight was his 2nd. They're both still new enough that there are plenty of other matchups to make and a Blaydes win/N'Gannou loss will be muted because they'd still be 1-1 and if N'Gannou wins it destroys any momentum Curtis has and doesn't really do much for Francis.

It sucks N’Gannou is on a slide, I feel like he could’ve been a good person to help the UFC break into Africa. They’ve got a few African fighters under contract now, and EFC cards seem to do pretty well.

If they were trying to get him back on track, Imp, they wouldn't have given him Blaydes. I mean, pretty much everyone seems to think that Francis will have nothing for wrestlers after the Stipe fight.

I personally think that Ngannou will come out victorious again, but only if he actually pulls the trigger.

LMAO@ Glaze, the only country worth breaking into would be SA and even that might not be worth doing TBH. Nobody wants to break into Africa, they w ant to break out of it. The Rand is worthless ( trading at 14.50 thereabouts per 1 USD$). I dunno. Maybe WME wants some of those Trillion dollar Zimbabwean bank notes.

And one does not need a premier MMA organization to create MMA fights in Zimbabwe. All one need do is purchase a loaf of bread, and toss it out a window.

Africa is also one of the most violent, unstable places on Earth and unless you had a commercial reason for going there, or were on Safari, you would avoid it like the plague--which is Ebola the moment, apparently.

Can't pay for tickets in murders,  AIDS and flies, that's all I'm saying. It's a pity **** isn't a prized commodity, because Africa would be the wealthiest continent on Earth ( **** capital of the world according to interpol)

I feel like Zaleski should have gotten a top 15 guy.

Maybe someone like Masvidal or Edwards — isn't he on a huge streak at the moment? A step-up is long overdue.

Having said that, he did get cracked by Griffin, so I guess Jingliang might be a live dog here.

Blaydes vs. N'Gannou II
Curtis Blaydes, TKO, R3
I LOVE THIS FIGHT... Mainly because it's a fight that Blaydes needs to be run back.. He's improved BIG TIME even since their 1st fight, And it's technically the ONLY FIGHT Blaydes has ever been stopped in and it was from a Dr. Stoppage. Blaydes deserves this rematch, win big here, he's prolly next in line for a crack at the title.

Overeem vs. Pavlovich
Sergey Pavlovich, TKO, R2
this is a BIG FIGHT for Pavlovich.. Shows how much he's respected, when they throw him to a top 5 guy in Overeem.. But I like the matchup. it's a winnable fight for him, and even if he loses... He'll still be well respected afterwards.. Really a win win that can launch his career even further

Yan vs. Kondo
Xiaonan Yan, DEC
I like the China vs. Japan clash... Let the Asians punch each other, while the rest of the world watches. solid idea.

Coulter vs. Hu
Rashad Coulter, TKO, R1
Idk a whole lot about Yaozong Hu, so I'm guessing this should be a winnable fight for Daywalker Coulter. annnnd that's most likely a MUST NEED win for him to keep his job in the UFC. 3 fights and 3 losses. They were all fun as ****, but I dnt know if the UFC would hold onto an exciting loser.. He needs a win

Aguilar vs. Zhang
Weili Zhang, DEC
Could Weili Zhang be the 1st to Finish Jessica Aguilar? It's possible. it's a fight, anything's possible. But it's the classic tale of the Finisher vs. the Unfinishable...
