Despite multiple fight cancellations and fighters pulling out, as well as the arrest of the sports #1 draw in Conor McGregor for being a moron, UFC 223 will still go on as Al Iaquinta will fill in to take on Khabib after Max Holloway missed weight. Can Raging Al follow in the foot steps of his trainer Matt Serra and pull off a monumental upset over the undefeated Dagestani in Brooklyn, or will he become just another victim to Khabib's brutal sambo wrestling? Also on tap is the rematch for the women's strawweight crown as Rose Namajunas defends against the former champ Joanna Jedrezjczyk, as well as fights featuring hot prospects like Renato Carneiro and Zabit Magomedshapirov and vets like Evan Dunham and Joe Lauzon.
Fight card starts at 8 PM EST on FS1 and switches over to PPV around 10 PM EST.
Let's do this ****!

If you think his striking is meant to be anything other than a distraction to get his opponent to stand where he can bullrush them into the cage, you're fooling yourself. And Rogan was spot on with his commentary. Khabib is a fantastic wrestler AND athlete but he's basically an evolved version of Tito Ortiz/GSP.
I would actually love to see him fight Alvarez or Gaethje, both fighters who wouldn't get dominated wrestling wise. Al did show a blueprint but it would need to be greatly expanded upon and done much better to have a realistic shot to beat him.
None of this should take away from Khabib. Even though his skillset is extremely grappling oriented, he's so good there that it causes hesitation in his opponents so they don't look anywhere near as good at what they usualy do much like Jones or Anderson Silva.
"Grammar. The difference between knowing your **** and knowing you're ****."
