After watching the post fight conference, something I usually do after the fights but watched it this morning,it's clear Johny Hendricks is a few cards short of a full deck. He's acting like he went out there and destroyed Lombard lol.

Nobody can question Johny's heart, his wrestling creds are crazy, and anyone that's wrestled at a high level can understand that, but he doesn't exactly fit at 185 or 170,but this bla bla bla i'm a million percent at 185 when he probably shoulda lost and acting like he's going to be some god at 185 cause he doesn't have to cut so much is just ******* silly.

I really like Johny,I watched him wrestle (live a few times) a lot before he even poked around with mma ,but he's pretty annoying. His time to shut up and do **** was a long time ago,but instead he talked about how great his weight was every fight then constantly missed weight.Makes it hard to be a fan.Now blaming everything on the weight cut is kinda lame.I'm happy to see him at 185,but he can talk about how great he feels all day, until he beats a top 185'er I don't really care.Couple that with him winning a **** decision (imo, super close but clear) last night.

Imagine him vs Jacare,Mousasi,Rockhold,Weidman etc. he has no future at 185,he shoulda just kept his **** together.

I was a fan of Hendricks going into the GSP fight but he turned into a total prima donna once he got the belt.

Lewis is a ******* asole...

I read this morning on mmafighting that he was glad that reffere let him hit Browne more after he was down.

Reffery should have lets Shaw Jordan twice and Matt Mitrione hit im more when he was out!

Really hope he fight Ngannou next!

The man to be blame first is the ref.. horrible stoppage.. this is possible brain damage beating..

I think Lewis is hating on Travis because of his past stories related to wife beating and domestic abuses (don't know the accuracy of those talks)

@Kuma Though I do think Hendricks rightfully won last night, I do agree he doesn't have much of a future at 185. Grisham pretty much nailed it when he said, and I'm paraphrasing, 5'9" Hendricks can do fine against the equally short Hector Lombards of the world but how will he fair when he has to face off against the 6'3" monsters of the division like Rockhold or Weidman who is also a damn good wrestler.

I had Lombard winning all 3 of the rounds. What am I missing? He pushed the pace, landed the better shots, got the one TD in the fight. What did Johny do?

I'm not saying Lombard did anything special, just a tad more than Hendricks in each round.

Johny's going to get eaten alive by the real middleweights. Heck I don't even think he beats Theodorou, Mutante, Santos or Marshman (well, maybe he outwrestles Marshman, but if he tries to box with him he gets creamed).

He's going to get killed in this division and he looks fat at middleweight. Him not being able to make 170 is pure lack of self control and has nothing to do with size. A guy with his frame should be fighting at 155.

I'm with yoss.  I thought Lombard was winning due to aggression and moving forward.

One of the best events i have ever seen.

Everybody came to fight. From first fight to last fight. I'm glad markos won even though i did not pick her b/c she took that illegal knee and still continued. I like the new rules but the refs need to call them. That one ref during the esparza fight was looking right at it and did not call it. I loved the Derrick lewis fight and Hendricks looked better but i did not think he looked any biggar and looked maybe a little slower. Props to that Elias T. fighter for getting a shampoo endorsement.   He is very entertaining fighter. McMann finished her opponent quickly but i felt bad for the woman fighting for the first time and getting such a tough opponent. McMann has class and came over to comfort her and i hope she gets another chance. Hell yeah, Halifax canada.

I agree with Yoss and GreenHornet. It had Lombard winning the first two rounds for a 29-28 decision

I agree, I mentioned earlier yesterday I had Lombard, but I re-watched and gave him all 3 instead of just the first two rounds. And what's crazy is Hendricks is so sure he smashed Lombard lol.

@rappin

Doubtful. He's still a name wme can plug in to make a card feel "bigger." Plus he's still an exciting fighter. That Hendricks fight was fun as hell. And they're getting him fairly cheap compared to what he was making for his debut.
