Who is Sean Spencer? Also this card is really good.

Pretty sure this is the fight where Cathal gets exposed ... he's not good enough for the UFC.

He's good enough (and lucky enough) to have sc****d past the lower levels but Spencer is a solid UFC-level fighter (not amazing, but a real indicator of where you need to be to fight in the UFC).

I'm not sure about that.  Spencer's three UFC wins are either cut are on their way out (Dober, Thaigo).  Pendred beat similar-level fighters to get to the UFC (Mills, Grimaud)

At the very least, any CW champ is bottom-tier UFC caliber.

Maybe ... I think Spencer can fend him off long enough for his bad bad striking to show ... Spencer's pretty rangy and I have a feeling Pendred's gonna spend a lot of energy trying to get him down to start off with and then get tagged at will.

I guess it's as good a matchup as any for him though.

Wow nice card. Some excellent Irish fighters, a couple NYers fighting each other, Henderson vs Alvarez. I am loving this. Really glad to see Parke making his return.

lol!!!!! Apparently Siver's English is better than his translator's!!!

EDIT:: Also, it was grand of them to actually feature some Siver footage before the fight ... I was beginning to wonder whether Conor's actually fighting someone or is just going to show up, shadow box in the Octagon and get a title shot.
