For the last event that was supposed to be PPV, Rebney said it would be $35-$45 depending on who your provider is.

I wonder what Bellator will consider successful as far as buy rates?  When Afflicition did their PPV I believe they did less than 200k

Will the UFC counter program this with a free card?

Is Eddie required to stay if he wins again like with the 2nd bout?

It would suck if the fighters get points for over a certain number of buys, say 100k, and the PPV only sells 90k. Ouch, right in the feels.

Word is, win or lose, Alvarez will be an unrestricted free agent after this fight. Also supposedly Alvarez made some concessions as well, like forgoing the PPV points that were offered originally.

That's why when Bellator moved his last fight to SPIKE from PPV he didn't complain that he was losing money by the move.

I'm actually surprised that Bellator released the revised poster already. I thought that they would stick the Straus/Curran winner against Patricio Freire as the co-main.

I'm guessing the rest of the main PPV card will be filled with Bellator tournament finals. Obviously hoping that people who have been watching all season will be invested already and will buy the card to see who the tournament winners are.

King Mo is going to get killed. They like should not even be allowed to sanction this fight. Unless Rampage does not train at all, I don't see how he could possible not destroy King Mo. Mo has someone of the sloppiest striking ive ever seen.

I don't even think King Mo can. He barely goes for take downs anymore and when he does, there so sloppy and telegraphed. Though rampage got dominated by Jon Jones he was able to successfully stuff him until the 4th round. i just don't see King Mo be able to get rampage down.

Rampage must love Bellator cause he can beat down the whole light heavy roster without smelling the mat really.

I wonder how good the Bellator pay is compared to the UFC.

It's probably not just the money. Looks like you can get away with much more in Bellator than in the UFC which seems to be something Rampage wants (and needs...he can be a crazy dude sometimes). You screw up in the UFC, they have plenty of other elite fighters waiting to take your place. Not so in Bellator.

JB

Cool!  I've only been to two UFC events and some low level things, but live MMA is a whole lot of fun.

Live amateur events.are awful....They're way.too violent. Its literally 14 out of 14 onesided.beatings. It's hard to.watch a military.boxer training out of ATT who makes.10lb weight cut fight a.guy who doesn't even.know.what a weight cut is and trained on and off at strip mall dojos.....Sometimes it's not such severe but its  rare that its just not.one guy beating the **** out of the other. Also a lot of amateur fights where I am don't end up being sanctioned so they dont go on your record and you have to pay 60 dollars to participate...Also.the.tickets are 30-100 dollars the only.semi good.thing.about amateur MMA is people come to watch,.They're mostly drunk white people but 500-700 people usually. Which is crazy when you think about it making the amateurs pay to fight and then not even sanctioning the ****.

The few.Bellator events Ive been to are so so, Im used to cornering and getting front  seats at ammys and small pro events so watching from so far away makes me wish I could just have a television there to see the technical display of things.

This is a hard one to pick.  King Mo's relative youth, athleticism and supposed wrestling advantage should be enough for him to get the win, but Rampage has looked a lot better out of the two in their Bellator runs.

Rampage's experience, confidence and KO power could be enough for him to get the win, but if Mo finally shows up in this fight, Rampage will probably lose a decision.

Well Rampage has never been knocked out by a girly punch. King Mo's words. Not mine.

Rampage all the way. The last time he got KO'd, were by the manliest foot stomps I've ever seen.
