Wow, no threads. Does anyone think this event will sell? If so, do you think Bellator will continue using the PPV format or is this just a one-time gimmick to keep Alvarez on the roster?

Rebney has a lot of nerve to not give Alvarez first billing.

A lot of nerve not to give Alvarez first billing?  They're trying to sell pay per views, not get ignored.

Unfortunately I agree with Gregory.  While I think Chandler/Alvarez rematch is a way better and more intriguing fight, fact of the matter is, Rampage and Tito is gonna sell better.  Let's not kid ourselves though... we all know what fight is the real main event.

@ifightbears Lawal/Newton?

I kid, I kid. Sad thing is, this is most definitely gonna be the most stacked card they've ever put on and it probably will get more buys than Fedor/Lindland (13,000), but fewer than Fedor/Arlovski (90,000)(both stats according to MMAPayout). I'm sure they'll try to get some other former UFC names on the card and they might put Schlemenko on the card too, but there's just not a whole lot of intrigue because the majority of fans are UFC fans, not MMA fans.

On the one hand, I want this card to do well so that the UFC has some strong competition to continue to make them work harder at putting out quality content. On the other hand, I hate PPV so I kinda want this to fail miserably so that fight promotions quit trying to do PPV. The UFC is doing less and less PPV and more and more free/cable tv, so I'm hoping the business model is just moving that direction.

This exactly . I was so disappointed when Invicta went PPV. I hope a tv network picks them up so they can knock that off. They would do good on FS! , there is room for them and UFC.

I really wish Bellator could of arranged Mamed Khalidov vs Shlemenko for this pay per view, it would of taken it to a whole new level in my opinion.

If all the fights go the distance right now they will have trouble fitting in a 3hr timeslot.  I really don't know how long they plan to make the PPV.

one just opened close to me. but I don't want to feel like Michael Chandler is there with me . He'll be all sweaty and smelly , and maybe bloody.

Edit: closest D&B to me is AZ, Tempe 18.55 miles lol . guess it was a Buffalo Wild Wings that I saw open near me.

I've seen one, but it's in a ******y part of town where people live in overpriced condos directly above trendy businesses. Why would someone pay $2,000 a month to live above a Dave & Busters?

On a serious note, I just noticed Richman vs Stepanyon is on the prelims? That's a hell of a fight right there, more excited for it than the 2 LHW fights combined.

ROFL... yeah... they had a commercial for it on a show I was watching the other night... Rampage and Tito were giants in a city, walking through it like gozilla or something.  I will not be purchasing.. but those are the DirectTV prices.
