Aspinall's style is more suitable to go the distance. Pavlovich is aggressive and puts everything into his shots. No way he can do that for 3 rounds. I'm pretty confident Aspinall can.

As much as I want Aspinall to bring it home I can see Pavlovich steamrollering him unfortunately. Aspinall will come again and be champion one day but it's Pavlovich's turn first

I just went and watched Pav's fight where he went 3 rounds. He was nowhwere near as aggressive and threw less significant strikes in that whole fight than he has been in his 1 minute fights in the UFC. If he chooses that approach and wants to be patient and have a technical boxing match with Aspinall I'd favor Aspinall even more tbh. His best chance is to do what he's been doing and hope he gets Aspinall out of there early.

@umbert
Pav could absolutely steamroll him in the first round. He's got death touch power. I'm just saying if Aspinall survives that first round the momentum is going to start shifting in his direction.

Yeah I think pavlovich’s experience going the distance is overrated. Sure, he went 3 and 5 rounds before but he fought at a sparring pace that he controlled

That's still more than Aspinall though.

I just don't understand why some act like Aspinall having an edge cardio wise is obvious. There's literally no evidence in favor of that.

@thesnake I guess it is but like, aspinall could easily fight 5 rounds at a sparring pace. What I’m trying to say is it’s not like serghei was tested in that fight, he stood and sparred with a guy for 5 rounds; anyone can do that when they are dictating the pace of the fight. Aspinall’s cardio is unproven but he doesn’t fight like a gasser (what I mean is he’s not going balls to the wall each fight throwing as hard as he can, unlike pavlovich.) Obviously we can only assume but I remember him teeing off of arlovski for about 3 minutes straight & not getting tired

Man I really hope Diego Lopes finishes Sabatini. I don't wanna see Sabatini lay on him for 3 rounds.

My initial thoughts when the fight was originally announced was that Tom would win. Since then I have gone back and forth so much that I gave up trying to predict this one.

I locked in Sergei but if the fight leaves the first round Tom wins.

Unless Nazim is allowed to grab the fence Slava gets up and Nazim gasses out with that gameplan since he isn't a wrestler. If Nazim doesn't wrestle, he gets pieced up on the feet for a R2 KO. if he wrestles in R1, he is in for a R2 KO. So, my prediction is Nazim by decision.
