I already thought Jones fighting Stipe wouldn't add anything to his legacy. If Stipe was in his prime, sure, it would, but he's been away for too long.

I doubt Jones will fight the winner of Tom x Pavlo though. He'll probably face Stipe, but, if I was Tom or Pavlo, I would call out Stipe after the win. What's gonna happen: Tom or Pavlo will have to defend an interim belt (with Jones out for more than 8 months) ?

Jones won’t fight either of these guys. He wants old man stipe to pad the resume

Pavlovich vs. Aspinall
Sergei Pavlovich, TKO, R1
This will probably end on the 1st, and I'll go with Pavlovich. I really like Tom, but I think he won't be able to wrestle Sergei like many are thinking. Besides, Pavlo was already the backup for Jon x Stipe, so he'll probably be in better condition than Aspinall. Everybody talks about the loss to Overeem, but that was 5 years ago and, if I'm not mistaken, it was a short notice for Pavlo. Anyway, I see Tom rushing and Sergei catching that open chin brutally.

Good vibes out there that Jones vs. Stipe get re-booked, however, where they are both getting in the later years I am sad to say I am taking the pessimistic outlook that this fight will not happen.. That being said PUMPED for Tommy.

Aspinall wins by whatever he wants

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 630 Points   |   Tied for 480th

Aspinall will win this and I'm surprised more here have it for Pavlovich. Aspinall is simply better at everything, faster too. Pavlovich is good but he isn't the dark horse of the division. Aspinall has been that dark horse for years and that flawless Volkov performance should loom large in the head of every ranked HW. I trust in the public to make the wrong choice here, so I cant wait to catch Aspinall at dog odds

He definitely prefers Stipe but allegedly Jones was asked by the UFC if he would accept a fight against Sergei a few months ago when it wasn‘t sure whether Stipe is gonna fight or not and he said yes. Jones knows that Stipe is a fight with less risk and he says that himself but I believe Jon would be willing to fight anybody in order to defend that title once before retiring.

He wants old guy Stipe to pad the record yes but this is not the main reason why he refuse fighting real contenders ,the real reason is that he doesn't have the heart for that for the same reason he was refusing short notice fights with high risk and for the same reason he would never be a real goat,he can run and hide from some people but carma is coming for him

Would have rather watched Tom pull Ganes arms off like a bug, now he probably gets his head blown off.
Ultimate in risk and reward here, just don't think Tom will be able to get Pavlos respect before being melted in a flurry.

I think people are forgetting that Jiri was losing to an old Texeira until Glover pulled that 20iq move. Now he's coming back from that horrible shoulder injury too. Pereira all day

Predictions: 4 of 8 Winners, 0 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 5306th

I am going to MSG and will be placing a $40,000 wager on pavlovich ML. The day aspinall defeats PAVLOVICH is the day chick fil a opens on sunday, and that will never ever happen. This is a russian mafia line. Pavlovich is going to show khabib, khamzat, makachev and the world how a really HW king is supposed to look, fight  and act. Imagine pavlovich losing to aspinall, that will never happen.  Anybody who thinks this russian beast is losing to a english men is going to lose a lot of money if they bet and if im wrong then i lose $40,000 PROUDLY , i i can definitely show proof this is my biggest bet ever with a bet slip from fan duel , i dont support gambling so please play at your own risk ,   i wish everybody the best luck!! May the best man win!!

Watching Pavlovich get out grappled & lose to Overeem would make me nervous about betting that big on Pavlovich against Aspinall, who remember easily got through the stellar TDD of Volkov & submitted him.
Blaydes had an arduous time wrestling Volkov, Aspinall did not

But hey...good luck to ya, and to any fellow bettors out there

Aspinal isn't much better in that, his only UFC fight that went past a round was Andrei Arlovski and that went 6 minutes, But also we don't know Sergai wrestling because no one really shot on him since Overeem, But I think knowing heavyweight prospect cardio and or wrestling can be rare, last 2 big prospect was Gane and Francis. Gane wrestling look really good until he fought good fighter like Francis and Jones, And Francis cold ****s everyone he fight until he fights Stipe and Gane

Im interested to see this fight get into round 2, and too see Aspinal shot some takedowns, so we can see pavlovich takedown defence and both guy cardio

@Kniferusty
hey thanks for the engagement!  Really good thoughts!    Make no mistake, I am 100000 billion percent sure PAV is going to defeat aspinall,  i want to make it clear this is a full $40,000 USD on PAVLOVICH moneyline and i am going to win this bet. I promise you on my soul i will not lose this $40,000 just know that to be true.  And for the people who are saying “aspinall wins”   I guarantee you 100% they have absolutely $0 on aspinall ML. For some reason UFC fans naturally hate russians bc of khabib and those other BS fighters. But  PAV IS THE REAL DEAL HW RUSSIAN KING , HES HUMBLE AND HE WILL WIN ,  and also JON JONES DOESNT STAND A CHANCE. If anybody has a $40,000 aspinall bet then respect to you but your gonna lose $40,000 betting aspinall.  Im not losing. PAVLOVICH MONEYLINE. Please gamble at your own risk and call hotline if you need help

Frevola vs. Saint-Denis
Benoit Saint-Denis, DEC
Can see this being a scrappy war with BSD wins the 2nd and 3rd after being dropped in the first don’t see either guy finishing each other however I believe BSD will catch him in the 2nd and 3rd and outgrapple frevola in the important moment. Wouldn’t be surprised if frevola won though
