Talking about pick % is incredibly stupid.  If your objective is to maximize that number, just pick every favorite.  Any ****** can do that.  If the objective is to get to the top of the leaderboard, you need to create separation between yourself and the crowd.  That generally requires picking a lot of underdogs.

If you want an actual measure of expertise, count lifetime winnings risked in real markets.

People on here generally don't even keep track of the bets they make. That makes it hard to count winnings.

Because Turkalj appears to be a bum. I still lean Turkalj to win but that's probably your answer. Petrino is a roided up guy that hits hard and Turkalj has no striking defense. So I wouldn't be surprised if Turkalj got starched in round 1.

Harris vs. Gooden
Carlston Harris, TKO, R2
It’s cool to see Gooden back in the ufc; he worked his ass off on the regional to get back. That being said, he’s still a very limited fighter. I think Harris is actually really talented, but fly’s under the radar because of his age and inactivity. Gooden could chin him but I think Harris is the much better striker and has a huge grappling advantage

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 455 Points   |   Tied for 1123rd

Harris submission round 2

You never know, Harris has a tendency to swing wild and duck his head for 0 reason while striking. However when he is composed he throws serious ******* heat and has pure venom in his grappling.

Gooden could win, he is always in shape and has good athleticism and power in general. On this late of notice though especially I do not see him overcoming this terrible matchup for him

Well his grappling seems to be solid, his striking def is well yeah basically hard to find but if he can survive some of those punches then he should take the fight comfortably imo, also people are judging him based on his short notice fight against JAILTON ALMEIDA at Heavyweight when Turkalj is naturally a LHW, not saying he is the next best thing but he is not getting credict he deserves in this one imo, also experience factor might be a huge thing in this fight for Turkalj

Agree on Gooden/Harris. Glad they found him an opponent and honestly a huge opportunity for Gooden.

Had no idea he got starched by Impa. UFC should have kept him around.

Why do you think the UFC gave him Almeida in his first fight?

Usually they treat DWCS fighters with kid gloves
Instead they fed him to a monster up a weight class
Why do you think that is? Think about it

Merab is ******

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 2 Perfect, 395 Points   |   Tied for 2168th

Let this be clear: I love Merab. I’m actually a bigger fan of him than Petr, but this is a horrific matchup. I could realistically see Merab dropping Petr with one of his underrated shifting-right hands, but that’s a big stretch of the imagination. Not only do his hands not hold up, he doesn’t carry anything arsenal wise than Petr hasn’t dealt with before aside from his bat**** insane cardio. If the washed up shell of Marlon Moraes can hurt Merab on the feet, Petr can tear his ******* a new one. No matter how I look at this fight, all I can picture is Merab failing to get takedowns and forced to do long-winded cage pinning, and every time they separate, Petr pieces him the **** up. Merab doesn’t even have the benefit of threatening a finish, the only finish he has in the UFC is, again, Marlon Moraes, who has a suffered for a severe ailment of ‘Chuck Liddell syndrome’. Even then, Merab had to go full King Kong on his ass for several minutes just to TKO him. There is very little to threaten Petr here unless he’s pulled some new trick out his ass.

Petr via R4 KO
