Montell Jackson look great, But in his last few fights he fought non UFC level guy, so big whoop he look good, Arce might be a good dog this week, All I know Arce is way better then Straider, Buys, Socampth  and Coleres. I just think it's hard to judge fighter when you UFC kept giving you fight where you suppose to look good, How can you get a valid opinion on Montell level

At last moment...before placing a bet...
On that particular fight...I was robbed of my opinion...By the Grt..Guru...

I've just sat down and had a good look at this card it is stacked from top to bottom

yeah true its probably not my type of humour 

I just watch interviews, pay attention for Freudian slips. Most interviews are nothing burger but if you pay attention you sometimes find a fighter or a coach will reveal something they didn't intend to - it might be about their mindset, their game plan, quality of their camp etc.

I think the interviews Helwani did with the CKB earlier combined with some bits and pieces that have been presented in the lead up to this fight are pointing to some internal tensions in the CKB camp. It's hard to tell if the hardline approach Eugene employed this camp is a net positive if there was complacency in the fighters but it seems all of the fighters disagree with Eug and are actually suggesting they have been overtrained. 

Eugene has the aura of the wise sensei, the selfless coach but from what I've seen the man does have an immense personal ego of his own. MMA fans know him as a coach but Eug also dabbles in management and promoter roles in the New Zealand combat sport scene. He's played fast and loose with some of the moral philosophies he professes in the international mma media and let's be honest he does more media than his fighters.

So it's not out of the realm of possibility that Eug is the one out of line in the way he called his fighters out in the gym and in the media rather the fighters being anything less than completely committed.

All that to say the CKB camp and culture had definitely done a lot of things right and they might be building back stronger or we might be witnessing cracks off the back of the recent subpar performances of their key members.

Whatever it is it's unusual for a coach to publicly criticise their fighters mindset in the lead up to a fight and it's also unusual for fighters to openly discuss being overtrained in the lead up to a fight. Like the weird stuff surrounding TJ a couple weeks back not participating in the open training etc. There was a lot of unusual stuff going on and looking back it's obvious he was having issues. So we can't say for sure but imagine a future where the CKB guys go 0/4 and we'll look back and go "yep, this outcome was entirely predictable". 

All I'm saying is let's pay attention to any more out of the ordinary comments or actions in the lead up to this fight from the CKB camp.
