Final picks. Going for the upset in the main event. I think Usman's striking is too slow to put Leon in the same positions he had Masvidal and Covington in, and then you can factor in that he's probably fired up from the fifth round of his last fight to getting the title shot against a former foe here. Plus, Usman's ability to defend leg kicks just really concerns me.
With both men fighting at their best, Usman should win, but I think the stars are lining up for Leon this one time and he'll pull the upset.

48-47x2, 47-48 AND NEW A fantastic fight but Leon does tons of damage throughout 5. He stuffs most takedowns and gets up farely-fast. I think Usman gets hurt in the fourth or fifth and it starts to look likely he will lose. Leon stays sharp and fast, elbows add up. Classic.

Romanov I think clearly and comfortably wins round 1, 2nd he takes over and TKO's Tybura from mount. Ref steps in. GREAT fight though two of the top prospects but my eye and money have been on Kong forever.
Gordon vs. Santos

If those goes into the 3rd round I am going to be incredibly worried that Santos sinks in a submission. I am going to say Gordon by KO in the 2nd by Knee.
Woodson vs. Saldaña

I think Luis fades late rnd 2 and can't quite recover in between rounds. Woodson smells blood, relentless jabs/cross' put Luis down.

i'm a fan of leon and he absolutely deserves this opportunity, but that doesn't mean i'm gonna say he can avoid the grind. wouldn't mind being wrong though.

could end up as a staring contest, but i expect pasta to have the more explosive moments whereas i expect luke to try to hit and move.

Paulo is 0-2, last fight on contract, i don't see Dana letting him go, but if he loses, he will not earn a raise that he want. And you see that he is very focused. Best shape of his life. I saw his YT channel and his house is simple for a man who is a former title challenger. Remembers me Renan Barão, who lived in a small room when he was a ******* #1 P4P.
Luke is 37 and this is his last shot. You see him quite deluded (some fighters had to do this to get motivated again), but you see his interviews and he is not stupid anymore. His girl had a abortion, and I think he is fighting for something special now. He is akward but you can relate to him. And personally, i think he is one of the most skilled fighters ever. good striking, excellent kicks and World Class Top Control. Don't know why he was not a dominant champ, but I'd like to see another Luke's title run.
