I thought Nunes vs Pena was one of the funniest fights of all time, Watching Nunes get outbox by Pena is never not going to be funny, I don't think the rematch will be anything near as good as the orignal

I don't think every fight has to be "good" MMA, Just sometime silly fights are really enjoyable, And Pena vs Nunes was peak silly

Peña vs. Nunes II
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R1
Money's gonna still be on Nunes, but just imagine the scene if Julianna does it again. Pena's upset over Nunes is legitimately one of the most insane sporting moments I've ever seen in person, and the confidence she'll bring into this fight knowing she can face Nunes and win will be critical here IMO. I'm not sure if I'll stay Nunes, might just make a punt on Julianna for the hell of it. Keep this one off your parlays boys and girls!

Moreno vs. Kara-France II
Kai Kara-France, DEC
KKF's been in top form recently and I'm wary of Brandon's move to Glory MMA. While I'd like Moreno/Figgy 4, I think flyweight's resurgence demands some new blood fighting for the title against the division's diminutive God of War.

Lewis vs. Pavlovich
Sergei Pavlovich, TKO, R1
I give up on this one. Every time I bet against Lewis he won, until Tai Tuivasa finally broke the streak. I'm high on Sergei, and I think Lewis fighting in Texas again is legitimately cursed

Pantoja vs. Perez
Alexandre Pantoja, DEC
Cannibal should be fighting for the belt, **** this noise.

Ankalaev vs. Smith
Magomed Ankalaev, DEC
Anthony's been on a roll recently but I think that even if it might not be the most exciting fight, Ankalaev is finally going to earn his title shot in this one

Dober vs. Alves
Drew Dober, TKO, R1
Dober fans, we stay winning

Tafa vs. Mayes
Don'Tale Mayes, TKO, R1
Thinking perhaps Mayes might go for the teabag TKO this time around

Klose vs. Ferreira
Drakkar Klose, TKO, R2
Poor CDF man, 37 years old and being fed a murderers row of lightweights

Bahamondes vs. Klein
Ignacio Bahamondes, TKO, R3
For however long it lasts, this is going to be a striker's delight

Cosce vs. Diamond
Orion Cosce, SUB, R1
Man they're not doing Blood Diamond any favors having him face a wrestler

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 2450th

Peña vs. Nunes II
Julianna Peña, SUB, R2
Big risk, but I think she’s gonna do it again. Unfortunately for Amanda I think that her time is up. She’s started a gym apparently, she has a kid, she doesn’t need to do this anymore. As far as the fight goes I think it will be a near identical fight as the first one

Moreno vs. Kara-France II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
Close fight, I think Brandon has the better hands and will be able to win with volume. Kai wil need improvements to beat Moreno, he has made quite a bit but not enough for me to think he will beat him

Lewis vs. Pavlovich
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R1
Is Lewis loses this fight he should retire. Not because Sergei is bad, it just wouldn’t seem worth it anymore. With that being said he should get a sweet KO

Pantoja vs. Perez
Alex Perez, DEC
Fantastic fight. I can see why people are backing Pantoja, he’s a beast. Perez is very underrated though and I think he will win a close fight

Ankalaev vs. Smith
Magomed Ankalaev, DEC
Title eliminator at LHW. Ankalaev has the talent, he just doesn’t put his foot on the gas peddle is when he has his opponent on the ropes. Smith won’t have any trouble coming into the pocket unlike Santos so I think Magomed can land counter shots and mix in some takedowns against a guy who isn’t known for great td defense. Either way this fight goes, I believe it will be a successful title defense for Jiri

Smith being +350 is disrespectful. He has all the qualities to give Ankalaev trouble, good durability, good volume on the feet and great BJJ. I don't even know if I'll pick him but he's got a solid chance to win, much better than +350.

@MMAFan223 I agree. Even if the anthony smith that fought glover shows up against ankalaev, there's a decent chance he could squeak out a decision. He looked great against glover for the first two rounds.

Can someone fill me in on why Ihor and his incredibly sketchy record is so highly favoured over the legit UFC calibre skills of Nick?

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 2450th

Dober vs. Alves
Drew Dober, TKO, R1
Love this fight, absolutely a banger will be on display here. Dober is more technical and is very powerful, but Alves is one of the most explosive guys in the division. He’s like Brazilian Chandler without the wrestling imo. I think Drew will catch him in a wild exchange and flatline him, wouldn’t be surprised with a Alves W though

Tafa vs. Mayes
Justin Tafa, TKO, R1
This is a fight that has 2 men who aren’t known for much technique. I really don’t know who wins tbh, Mayes could definitely point fight his way to a decision but I think Tafa will land something nasty and sleep him

Morono vs. Semelsberger
Alex Morono, DEC
What do you know. Another great fight, really could go either way but I’ll go with decision for Morono. His boxing and volume is his key, as long as Matt doesn’t catch him like Khaos did he should be ok

Klose vs. Ferreira
Drakkar Klose, DEC
Rooting for Ferreira here. He’s had some matchups these past couple go arounds, Gillespie followed by Gamrot. Both bad weight cuts as well, I just don’t know how he’s gonna come out so I’ll stick with Klose

Brahimaj vs. Morales
Michael Morales, DEC
I’m high on Morales. He’s got the nice DWCS win and he KOd Giles on the main card of the first ppv of the year. He’s a tall and long kid with good striking and a good ground game. The only things I can say about Ramiz are that he is exceptionally tough and has a decent ground game when he can get it there. I don’t think Michael will let him though

Kim vs. Agapova
Ji Yeon Kim, DEC
The only mid fight on this card for me. Both women are exciting at least, I’ll take Kim by close decision

Bahamondes vs. Klein
Ignacio Bahamondes, SUB, R3
I see this going very similar to Ignacio’s last fight. Piece the guy up for 3 rounds before Klein gets desperate and shoots into a Guillotine/anaconda choke

Negumereanu vs. Potieria
Ihor Potieria, TKO, R1
Nicks iron chin can’t save him forever. I think Ihor will put him away early

Cosce vs. Diamond
Blood Diamond, TKO, R2
Fun fight here. Guaranteed finish either way. I think Cosce takes down Blood Diamond in round 1, gets some decent ground n pound but won’t get the finish. Then Diamond comes out in the second and sleeps an exhausted Cosce
