Oh i didnt say he is on par with the competition he lost too. My point is we have seen Brahimaj tested. We have not seen Morales tested and I believe Brahimaj style will test Morales more than Giles could have.

Similar to what you said, beating worse competition doesn't tell us you will beat better competition. I like Giles alot. But i think at welterweight he wasnt much of a test for Morales because of his style.

I found it unwarranted to say Brahimaj was ******.

MORALES IS IN FACT A REAL LOCK

Predictions: 3 of 9 Winners, 0 Perfect, 180 Points   |   Tied for 4643rd

Ramiz will not be better then Morales ANYWHERE, just cuz grappling is Brahimaj’s strength doesn’t mean he’s good at it. He out-grappled Paltnikov & Gillmore, *** ARE WE EVEN DISCUSSING RN?? RAMIZ IS TOUGH, I’ll give him that, but he’s probably getting finished. For perspective Trevin Giles would also beat Ramiz not easily but rather comfortably. A Giles who recently beat a BETTER GRAPPLER Dolidze @ 185. Tbh morales DWCS opponent Veretennikov is a really tough fight for Ramiz, saying all that just to say. There’s levels, MORALES IS A REAL PROSPECT, Ramiz is just a guy with a roster spot. Ramiz has no chance. Him getting “TESTED” is BS, he got DOMINATED by guys he had no business being in the octagon with. A Test, like you mentioned was Brady vs Court for example, Brady wins, looked good but showed he needed work. Sorry for the rant. It’s just disrespectful to even consider Ramiz in this spot, when Morales has already beaten better guys, I ALSO HAD A BIG ARGUMENT OF MORALES > Giles last time, so it’s just wild people would doubt him on THIS LEVEL of competition.

Ok. My opinion is that this will be a test on Morales grappling. A test that I believe he will pass.

I also think it’s possible Brahimaj proves he is more than just a guy taking up a roster spot.

Good thing is it will all be answered soon enough.

Morales is a judo brown belt, bjj brown belt, and Ecuadorean wrestling champion. He’s got more than enough capabilities to deal with ramiz

Morales has the pedigree and has looked good in his UFC and DWCS fight. Another 🇪🇨 in the UFC is awesome so I hope he does well.

Speaking nothing but facts GuruCalzadoAyyLmaonnaise & KungFuDino*****. Let me remind you guys that 9 of Ramiz 10 wins have come in the first round. What happens when this bout gets extended into the second and third? This bout will also be in the bigger octagon and in front of a live crowd which Ramiz hasn't experienced since the pandemic hit the world so this is added advantages for Michael. Also Michael has a 6 inch reach advantage. On the point of Ramiz, he got dropped by Court McGee at the end of the first and struggled to get him down also showed poor fight IQ but not attempting a single TD against Max Griffin. Look what Sean Brady did to Court McGee beat him very comfortably but yet we have Ramiz over here making old man Court McGee look like prime Robbie Lawler in the stand up. This is Michael Morales all day long. If you like Ramiz take him by first round submission which will be +900 or so on some Polyana Viana type **** lol that's the perfect comparison Ramiz is the male version of Polyana Viana, outside of a first round submission they are terrible. Look for Michael to move to 14-0-0 and join the future WelterW division class.

Sean Brady, Michael Morales, Ian Garry, Shavkat Rakhmonov & Khamzat Chimaev.

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 2450th

Julianna Pena vs Amanda Nunes II
Julianna Pena SUB R2
I think this will be similar to their first fight. The way I see it with Nunes is that if you are the person who is not going forward you will lose to her. Pena did not let Nunes bully her and that combined with Nunes kind of quitting led to Julianna winning. I see a similar result, call me crazy but I think that’s how it’s gonna go

Brandon Moreno vs Kai Kara France II
Brandon Moreno DEC
I like Kai and he’s an exciting fighter but I see this going Moreno’s way. It will close but at the end of the day Moreno’s boxing and volume will earn him another shot at Figgy

Derrick Lewis vs Sergei Pavlovich
Derrick Lewis KO R1
Derrick is gonna do Sergei like he does to every other rising prospect, besides Cyril and Tai of course. But I don’t see Sergei being anywhere near that caliber

Drew Dober vs Rafael Alves
Drew Dober TKO R1
Rafael is a good fighter but one thing this fight entails is that it will be a brawl. Alves comes in with heavy shots and good power but it is extremely difficult to knock out Drew. As shown in his fights with McKinney and Riddell.
The way I see this going is Rafael getting too aggressive and Dober hitting him with a big shot before Dober puts him away with shots on the ground

This card looks kinda mid rn but it still has some good fights on it. I think they’ll add a few more on here, they should anyway

Curious to see odds on Lewis-Pavlovitch. Would love to see some dog money on Sergei, just wondering if Lewis is getting old in the tooth and seriously could be on the decline.

Magomed Ankalaev vs Anthony Smith
Magomed Ankalaev DEC
Good fight here. I like Smith but I don’t think he takes this one, Magomed knows how to win fights and that’s what I think he’s gonna do to Smith. He’ll point fight him to a UD. I hope Smith gets him uncomfortable and makes it a good fight

Ramiz Brahimaj vs Michael Morales
Michael Morales DEC
This seems pretty cut and dry to me. Morales is a very good wrestler and a good striker as well as a good Bjj game. Ramiz is pretty decent but struggles with well rounded opponents so I think Morales outclasses him here

Orion Cosce vs Blood Diamond
Blood Diamond KO R2
Really like this fight, wish it could have been on this weeks card but oh well. Orion and Louis Cosce are pretty much the same fighter in my eyes, both are explosive, both are good wrestlers and they both have terrible cardio. Idk what it is but they seem to absolutely gas anytime a fight goes out of the first round and they get finished a short time later. Blood Diamond had a rough first fight in the UFC. With that being said I think Blood Diamond uses his TD defense to tire Cosce out and eventually knock him out in the later parts of the second round

Ignacio Bahamondes vs L’udovit Klein
Ignacio Bahamondes SUB R3
I see a similar fight to Ignacios last fight with Zhu Rong. Clap him on the feet before tapping him with some sort of front choke or even a triangle choke in the 3rd round

Alexandre Pantoja vs Alex Perez
Alex Perez DEC
Amazing fight here, 2 top flyweight contenders. Both are action fighters no less, I expect a high pace technical fight that is very close. But with Perez slightly edging it in the end

Perez is super underrated and I think it'll be a barnburner, but Pantoja is very good, so I think I'll take him.

But Pantoja is also going to serve as the backup for Moreno-Kai 2, so that may affect how he's prepared for this. Can't take Perez lightly.
