@JReynolds I love Charles, I'm with him win or lose. Even if he pulls a Tony Ferguson (which I don't believe he will), I'll still admire and respect him.


@Taybazza04 I'm with you, I think Darriush v. Makhachev is close to 50-50. Beneil is a better striker, Islam is probably a better grappler but I'm not sure.

I think Islam gets the finish on Dariush in Rounds 4 and 5... I think Dariush will gas in the later rounds and get finished by Islam.

Volk is an absolute stud, but I honestly don't know if Islam is a good matchup for him. I do believe that Volk can give Islam some issues. However, the question remains if Volk can keep that fight standing. Since I believe that Islam will super dangerous for him on the ground. I know he could handle Ortega, but that's a different kind of threat. Anyways, I'd love to see that fight. Though it would be super ****** for Dariush. I think he deserves to get that title fight.

My pick was strongly influenced in that I thought just the opposite would happen. Islam proved to be real: he finished the man who finished 2 former Interim UFC Champions (Poirier and Gaethje) and 1 Bellator Champion (Chandler) in row. Dariush deserves the title shot, he defended his spot tonight against Gamrot and has a very long winning streak. Volk can wait until the second half of the year for his Champ-Champ Shot (Emmett or Yair will be his opponent in Perth).
