Really? I don’t know what anybody sees in culibao tbh. I think that “draw” with jourdain gets overrated (he should have lost, was bad judging). He doesn’t wrestle either

I think Jalin Turner would run through Choi tho tbh, and that was Culibao's first fight in the UFC too. If I remember right, he won against Shayilan pretty handily in his last fight and looked like he made some significant improvements. Choi's best win was catching Erosa with that signature hook and then allowed Caceres to finish him right away after adjustments.

Well turner is a great grappler in his own right but I mean culibao hasn’t even attempted a td in the ufc and he’s a kickboxer so don’t think his wrestling is an option and Choi is objectively the better striker

Also going back to Garcia vs Maheshate. I wonder if Garcia will miss weight; this dude is one of the biggest weight bullies I’ve ever seen. Missed weight 3 times in his career (probably more but I can’t find his weight for some of his fights) granted, he was trying to fit his 6”0 frame into 135/145 but still. Wonder if he’ll have a bad weight cut or end up being the smaller guy because 155 is closer to his walk around weight. Maheshate is a gigantic 155er as well

Idk I think Culibao just has more options to win b/c of his BJJ background and competent kickboxing. If he didn't work on his wrestling this camp, then he's just stupid and has bad coaches, so I feel as long as he obtained the ability to even have a somewhat decent takedown, he should be able to dominate Choi on the ground and open up his striking. I like to predict my fights based off if I have seen a trend of improvement, and with Culibao, there definitely has been

I think Jalin Turner is more a decent grappler now b/c he learned how to wrestle and is significantly bigger than most of his weight class. If he fought another decent grappler his height and natural weight, he would probably get ragdolled.

I think pascual is a great underdog. Edwards has no tdd and pascual showed she can just zombie forward and spam takedowns. Plus she’s a 145er going down to 135 so she will have the strength and size advantage. Anyone who loses to rose clark is **** in my book

Ya but nunes > edwards by a significant amount imo. She’s a good striker but has godawful tdd. She lost to Sarah alpar and Jessica rose clark while her only ufc win is one of the worst women on the roster in wu yanan

Matthews is pretty live imo. I have fialho but it wouldn’t shock me in the least if he loses. All that weight cutting is not gonna help his chin (as we saw in his last fight) or his gas tank which we already know is not great. If matthews stands with him he’s gonna get ko’ed but if he goes to the grappling I think he will win

@thepro ya it definitely was. I always fade syndicate mma (where she trains) but I think it’s a good spot for her. Edwards doesn’t hit nearly as hard and I like the size advantage for her to just spam takedowns. If she lands one, edwards won’t get back up
