Never mind actually, aspinall is on the card still but different opponent. Cant say I’ve ever seen that happen before

I would assume he wants to fight up but I think he’s either fighting blagoy, volkov, daukaus (I really hope not because HW desperately needs prospects) or blaydes

Exactly, very weird thing to see. They must be giving him a big name; maybe headlining because we still have no idea about till vs hall? If that were the case they’ve gotta be giving him volkov or someone on the same level

Apparently he's staying on the card but is fighting someone else. That's most likely false imo but it's what I heard. It's a move I disagree with because other than Volkov, Stipe and Blaydes, there's no one above Aspinall that is free. I highly doubt they give him Stipe and imo Volkov vs Blaydes 2 should be next so I really don't know what is going on.

I’ve heard from bigmarcel who is 100% reliable. I think volkov is the most likely option because he’s basically the gatekeeper at this point (no offense to him of course)

Yeah would make sense to do Volkov vs Aspinall. Wouldn't even be shocked if it ends up being the main event tbh. It's a very good fight stylistically

Volkov vs Tom is very interesting tho. Haven’t seen Tom past the second round and we know volkov has the cardio but aspinall is the new wave of HW.

On another note also interested to see pavolovich back (if he doesn’t pull out) he shouldn’t be ranked but he’s a fascinating prospect. Longest reach in the ufc, high volume striker, wrestling background and 5 round fight experience. Only problem is he’s fought dog**** competition but current version of shamil isn’t that much of a step up

And yeah my main concern is volkov is durable as ****. Tom isn’t gonna be able to ko him like he did spivak and volkovs tdd is like 95% since he put on all that muscle so it’s gonna be very difficult for Tom to try and sub him too. He’s quite big himself so volkovs size shouldn’t be too much of a problem and I think Tom has the bigger reach too. fascinating fight

Edit: wow volkovs tdd is actually 100% on 21 attempts since gaining 20 extra pounds so no way Tom takes him down
