Predictions: 2 of 2 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points   |   Tied for 2876th

Shevchenko vs. Chookagian
Valentina Shevchenko, SUB, R2
Valentina is to well rounded and is the more prepared striker. She will attack the lead leg from the jump and I think her grappling will allow her to take her down, pass the guard, and attempt multiple subs as well as ground and pound.

Shevchenko vs. Chookagian
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
Shevchenko is the far superior MMA fighter here and someone has to be the next victim. Chookagian is an in and out fighter. Tries to frustrate her opp. with repeated touching and then dodging out of the way. Trying to out point Shevchenko is not going to get the W. That style may get her to the final bell and a moral victory of going the distance with the champ but that is all it will get her. I do see a small chance Shevchenko mixes it up a little and grapples more this match to force the issue. That could lead to a submission win. I could see a 3rd round sub by bullet. Either way Shevchenko gets the win.

Lewis vs. Latifi
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R2
I see they had to find someone to fight Lewis in his hometown of Houston, but this was a curious choice. Latifi at HWT? Not sure why this move was made other then just can't make the cut to 205 anymore. This certainly could get real sloppy at some point and that is when Lewis usually pulls out a haymaker. I've got Lewis by TKO in the 2nd round and probably the late 2nd round as both guys fade.

Johns vs. Bautista
Mario Bautista, DEC
This could be a good scrap. Johns' fight IQ leaves something to be desired. He does not listen to his coaches very well and takes the fight to places that leave him vulnerable to either his opponent or the judges. This may be the fight that is catches up to him. The matchmaking and the odds are accurate here as Johns probably should be the slight favorite. However I see some things in Bautista that should carry him in this fight to get the W. getting the small (+) money here has some value. It will be a sweat the decision type of fight. Highly probable it goes to the cards and is 29-28. I will take Bautista in this spot.

Jones vs. Reyes
Jon Jones, DEC
I think Dominick Reyes is in way over his head in this fight.

Shevchenko vs. Chookagian
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
Valentina should win this fight without too many problems.

Lee vs. Murphy
Andrea Lee, DEC
This might be the biggest mismatch on the card.
