As much as everyone wants Garbrandt vs Lineker, And lets be honest Garbrandt doesn't deserve a Title shot period as of now even with a win over Mizugaki.  Lineker win over Mayday > Garbrandt win over Mizugaki no matter how you look at it . It's almost a given that Cruz/Dillashaw 2 is a thing and will happen.

So why not Lineker vs Dodson winner gets Cruz/Dillashaw winner. Makes more sense on a lot of levels.

Lineker calls out cruise, get in line behind TJ, Dodson.Dillashaw have history. As a refresher Dodson Ko'd Dillashaw. Mix and match the winners and there isn't a bad scenario. But hey I don't pick the matches but I just know how to.

@mikeyg I guess we can agree to disagree.

No way does TJ not deserve a Title shot against Cruz. And I'm not a fan of TJ and more of a fan of Garbrandt.

TJ was Champion and lost by the narrowest of Margins to Cruz. So was a rematch is warranted.

The only way you could say Cody Garbrandt deserves a Title shot is if you are a fan of his. Not UFC.com Rankings but Worldwide Cody might not even crack Top Ten

The UFC.com Rankings have Dodson as #9. That's absurd and I realize he's only beaten 1 BW but he'll beat most if not all IMO.

Dodson vs Lineker is a must happen matchup at this point. The winner could and should get the TJ/Cruz winner if I'm playing match maker.

Diilashaw vs Caraway again disagree because of TJ is #1 contender and will/should be fighting Cruz next.

Caraway vs Faber or Assuncao or Yayha would be more appropriate IMO. Instead they match up Faber with a bright prospect like Rivera, Jimmie. I won't complain but a win over Faber shouldn't warrant a Title shot at this current time. Faber has lost a step and father time is catching up.

Not to nit pick because these are all fantastic matchups but Faber vs Assuncao or Caraway seem much better.

As for Jimmie Rivera no need to try and build him up any slower. The guy is talented with over 20 fights now. Mizugaki vs Garbrandt just makes no sense. How do you go from Ko'ing Almeida in the 1st to Mizugaki.

Cruz vs Dillashaw

Dodson vs Lineker

Faber vs Assuncao

Garbrandt vs Jimmie Rivera

Caraway vs Yayha

McDonald vs Almeida or Mizugaki

That's how I would do it.

As much as I don't want to see a 2nd Cruz/TJ match yet, especially this early, that's the best set of BW matchups I've seen suggested Detroit. Kudos.

Honestly, giving Caraway the Yahya fight would be a slap to the face to Caraway.

Oh, you beat a top 3 bantamweight? Well, then here's Rani ******* Yahya! Good luck with that one!

Caraway v. Faber would be a good match up. Also Garbrant vs Lineker would be amazing.

I was also quite impressed with Lando Vannata i wouldn't mind him getting matched up with Al Iaquinta . Luois Smolka impressed as well I would like to see him vs Moraga.

Just re-watched main and co-main. Vannata is going to beat plenty of people in the UFC, he is damn good. Figured he'd give Ferguson a bigger test than expected, but jeeeeesus. And Lineker is just savage af. Big fan of him and Mayday.

@mulefold

Caraway didn't beat a Top 3 BW, he beat a rising prospect Sterling.

And sorry you want to go poop on my list. But everybody can't fight Cruz, TJ, Lineker.
And yeah maybe Yayhacis a small step backwards from Sterling but Caraway/ Yayha would make for some great grappling exchanges.

But whatever. I try and put together a decent list and if course some one will always **** on it.

Good day Sir!

Sterling was ranked 3rd in the rankings. People were calling him the next champ. And Caraway looked great against him. He deserves someone ranked much higher.

And if you're going to get that butthurt over a little criticism about your post, then maybe the internet's not the place for you. Who the **** cares?

"I try and put together a decent list and of course some one will always **** on it."
The others were fine, just not the Yahya/Caraway one. My bad that there's one ******* thing I don't agree with. And apparently others agreed too, seeing as I got 5 up votes compared to your 2.

So the next time you get your panties in a twist over absolutely nothing: Stop, think, and... Oh yeah, grow the **** up.

1st off Sterling was never topb3. If you use the UFC rankings, I don't, they rank fighters begat ever they want. They give 3-6 Hendo I title shot.
My point is Caraway can't fight Tj, Cruz, Dodson, Lineker and who ever elsevat the same time. Its one at a time dude. And I'm not butthurt but thanks. Fightmetrix has Caraway, Sterling and Yayha all grouped together.

Sorry to offend you I guess if I did. But I'm done contributing to Tapology forums because you said I shouldn't. No more insite from me since I'm no good at this stuff. And I'm disappointed with my 65% career % and 21st finish in ufc spring comp. I suck but I'll suck somewhere else.
