Nakamura vs. Wada Wiki Update Wiki

The sixth bout of Sengoku 15 pitted UFC veteran Keita Nakamura against Takuya Wada in a semi-final welterweight tournament bout, with the winner advancing to face Yasubey Enomoto who had emerged victorious on the other side of the bracket.

Wada opened the first round landing a low kick, which Nakamura responded to with a pair of stronger punches and then a takedown into side control. Nakamura peppered Wada's forehead with short punches and then deftly transitioned into a cross-side crucifix position, continuing to throw short punches to Wada's unprotected head. No single punch held much power, but dozens of them accumulated with Wada unable to escape what has become one MMA's most dangerous positions. The desperate Wada finally submitted to the strikes at 3:30 of the round, with Nakamura impressively advancing to the tournament finals.
