Looking at all these predictions and the clever reasoning behind each pick. True geniuses here on chat.

Great example is that Spivak was beaten by Tybura who is apparently slower than him, so he is definitely losing to Gane for the same reason.

Also amazing thoughts on both sides about Rose and Manon. All raising possibilities I had never even thought about. Really glad I have all these opinions to help me make up my mind.

Who do you guys think is going to be the big favourite who loses and crashes all the parlays this week?

Imo it's not a good thing with the MMA judging nowadays to have a name like Loosa

This fight will determine if Loosa is actually decent or not. If he loses or wins unimpressively, then he's just barely UFC talent, but if he dominates or gets a good finish, he might actually be future top 15 talent

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 4 Perfect, 565 Points   |   Tied for 1275th

Gane vs. Spivac
Ciryl Gane, TKO, R2
Spivak is good, his grappling is decent but I just don't think he has the same type of grappling that can give gane issues. Spivak needs to push up close and clinch and take you down in a very judo/greco-roman dynamic. Gane needs a kicking game similar to his Tai fight keep it at range and just spam body and leg licks. Then eventually mix it up to the legs and keep his footwork moving. I just don't think Spivak is good enough in the feet to enter the clinch reliably against Gane.

Fiorot vs. Namajunas
Manon Fiorot, DEC
I honestly think Rose is just too small and her mental is not quite there. At the end of the day Rose is a mental fighter and I just can see Fiorot size being a real issue even with a basic 1-2 striking. 29-28 decision.

Saint-Denis vs. Moisés
Benoit Saint-Denis, TKO, R3
The grappling is roughly even and maybe the edge is to Moises, but the striking is clearly BSD. Moises will be worked on the feet until he starts to shell up and gas out due to the damage and the extended grappling scramble that I do not think either will land a dominant position in for too long to achieve any real damange/success.

Oezdemir vs. Guskov
Volkan Oezdemir, DEC
Oezdemir decision. at the end of the day Guskov looks decent but the level of his competition is very low. The experience and development of Volkan has been really interesting to see even if it has made him a more boring fighter. I think he keeps it standing and out points Guskov 30-27 maybe even dropping him.

Ghemmouri vs. Loughran
Caolan Loughran, TKO, R2
Yanis is not bad, but Caolan recently has been fighting decent level of opposition and he is just a real unit at BW. Really strong and technical. I think this is good stylistic matchup but one where Yanis will stay in and push back for a little bit.

Charriere vs. Zecchini
Morgan Charriere, TKO, R1
How the hell is Morgan in the UFC, Hardwick had to go on Contender series against another UFC ready regional champ, how Hughes is not even in the UFC or Vucenic. Morgan is good but he is one of those fighters that make it too close against everyone, unless they are a can. Zecchini is a higher level can, not a bomb but someone that just is not UFC level and is a perfect stylistic match up for Morgan. With a Paris crowd as well... I would imagine morgan gets the finish. The better not slow roll him like Paddy lol

Fairn vs. Cavalcanti
Jacqueline Cavalcanti, DEC
Zairn is awful, and Cavalcanti is actually quite talented. Fairn probably survives for a decision. Makes the opening round close but loses 30-27

Cornolle vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
EVERYBODY GO WATCH CORNOLLE V DE SOUZA ON YT. A DOUBLE CORNOLLE NIP SLIP. BOTH TITS OUT. Bet on her to nip slip tis fight is the best odds. But in reality, I don't think she is that good rewatching her recent tape and her competition level is really low. Edwards I don't really rate highly, but she has been improving and proved me wrong. I think she lights Nora on the feet and clinch and stays safe in the grappling.

Loosa vs. McKee
Rhys McKee, DEC
I am Northern Irish. I was gonna pick Loosa as I honestly do not think Rhys is any good. Especially coming off the Wallhead win sure it was pretty dominant, but if you are UFC level you should be smoking the old man in the 1/2 rounds. His other fights have not looked good, and Loosa is deceivingly good, not amazing but okay. However, I realised last night Loosa hates long rangey strikers like Lazzez. Rhys is just a slightly worse Lazzez imho but way bigger and longer. Not sure about in the shaft but striking wise way more annoying for Loosa. Plus the Rhys looked okay against Morono and the 5 round experience should help. I think this will be a relatively boring 29-28 for Rhys. Happy for him, but i don't think he goes far.

Basharat vs. Rodrigues
Farid Basharat, DEC
Kleydson is good, but Basharats are another level and moving up to BW rarely goes will. However, lets al be real losing to Vergara and winning against Shannon Ross isn't exactly a good start to the UFC. Kleydson should just figure out his weight cut and go back to FLW. He can probably beat a Charles Johnson if he fights smart etc.

Ghemmouri vs. Loughran
Caolan Loughran, TKO, R3
This is an interesting one for sure. Caolan is coming in as the major prospect here. I think he’s lacking in a lot of areas though. He’s stiff and stationary as can be. Absolutely 0 head movement and as a result gets tagged a lot. He has good qualities too. He’s fast when he lets his hands go and is also a really good defensive wrestler with a solid sprawl. This French dude does not seem legit in the slightest but we’ll see. I think Caolan gets a TKO in the ladder part of the fight

Charriere vs. Zecchini
Morgan Charriere, TKO, R2
Morgan is meant to destroy this dude. It’s the only reason they’d give him an Italian with a bad record

Fairn vs. Cavalcanti
Jacqueline Cavalcanti, TKO, R2
Cavalcanti seems like a decent prospect surprisingly for this division. She’s big and fast and has really good striking. Grappling doesn’t seem good but she has time to improve there. Fairn is just really bad. Bellator quality

Cornolle vs. Edwards
Nora Cornolle, DEC
No clue honestly. I’m hoping Corolle wins because Edwards is suupppeer boring. Worst 3 fight win streak in the ufc imo. But she could win this one for sire

Loosa vs. McKee
Ange Loosa, TKO, R3
I’m relatively high on Loosa. I like McKee and he’s super exciting but I think that Loosa is just better. He’s gonna stick him with the jab and bust him up. Loosa’s durability is also crazy so he should definitely take this one

Basharat vs. Rodrigues
Farid Basharat, DEC
Kleydson is my boy but he’s had some weight cutting issues. Hence the move to 135 despite being undersized. As far as the fight goes I don’t think Kleydson is lacking on skill but the size and cardio edge for Farid will most definitely be the difference maker

Heavyweight is a weird division, all the elite  prospect, you ususlly don’t know how good either  they’re cardio or grappling or both is to they’re fight the elite, Gane is an example with his Wresling, Francis cardio before he improve it,  But we also don’t know anything about Aspinal cardio, or both Pavlovich cardio and grappling

They’re no other division like this, if you have a big hole in your game, your getting expose earlier

It feels like this is a lay up for Gane to keep him up in the rankings. In his hometown against a high ranked guy who doesnt really feel like champion material. Question is… who is ufc wanting Gane to fight next after he gets a highlight reel performance?

My only fear with Gane is that Jones just owned him so bad on the floor and Spivac is a better grappler then Francis who also just ragdolled him with one knee , Jones and Francis are the elite but he just getting too badly smashed to not be kinda sussed

Also,Gane entire come up he never had to fight an grappler because it heavyweight and they’re only like 3 of them
