Gane beat biggie boi and Volkov, I doubt spivac has a chance he's lost to a slower Tybura. If gane has any type of power aspinall had spivac will curl into the fetal position like he did against aspinall

Loosa vs. McKee
Rhys McKee, TKO, R2
I think Loosa is somewhat underrated but i still gotta go with McKee here. Height and Reach difference will be the key. I also did not like the reaction from Loosa when he got rocked by Fletcher in second round of their fight. He almost got finished. McKee most likely catches and finishes him with flurry of punches.

Very surprised Gane is quite a decent fav considering he has horrible td def and ground work which is what Spivak specializes in. This fight should be close to pick em at best

regarding the apex favoring Spivak, to be fair, the 2 times Gane has been outgrappled, he's fought in Anaheim and Las Vegas. but as we know, styles make fights. I'm not gonna deny that the apex favors Spivak, because it absolutely does; his wrestling is much more dependent on getting up in your face. just thought I'd point it out that Gane has been outgrappled in the big cage before

For once I've been lucky and not have fights I capped fall out. Usually I start by capping the fights that are then promptly cancelled putting me back to sqaure one.

@el yeah I know but comparing spivak to Ngannou or Jones is a big reach. I wasn’t saying big cage is the reason gane lost those fights, I was just saying it’s gonna hurt spivak who has the majority of his wins in the apex

no I for sure agree that the big cage will make it harder for Spivak. but in the end I don't think it will matter too much because of how big the gap in the grappling really is yk

Soo.. are we gonna get some emergency extra fights added or are we down to 10 with a weight cut still to complete?

I think we forget that the dude Gane lost against was Jon Jones. Spivak is going to have a hard time tracking Gane down, and he is just going to dance around the octagon. I think Gane's kicks are also going to be too quick for Spivak to catch

I am guessing that this card will either be absolutely awful or they will find some no-name European talent from the regional scene to fight Lapilus and Gomis. My guess is that they want to move through every contract from MMA Factory as quick as possible since Dana has a very odd hatred of Ferdinand Lopez. It's a little weird considering how much star power some of those dudes can bring in because France is one of the fastest growing markets in MMA. I've seen reports from lawyers invested in MMA that are trying to expose managers taking advantage of fighters, so they can have a better relationship with Dana White and the UFC to make more money. Hopefully, some lawsuit comes out that helps these fighters from being blackballed because of manipulative managers and we can actually see top talent fight in the UFC instead of wasting their careers beating bums and average fighters in the PFL and Bellator

Shaky main event, I don't trust either of them. It's a game of how well they've covered for their weaknesses, guess that's what makes it interesting.

******* sucks we lost the almeida fight. Gomis was a solid pick. My other few takes of what’s left of this card is that BSD is gonna steam roll. God of war by any means. Basharat should continue to put on a clinic and grind out a decision. And for gane/spivac, I believe the edge is in favour of gane. The bigger octagon will be in his favour. His footwork and speed and agility is miles ahead of spivac. Spivac is good, but he’s not jon jones. I think gane comes out and reminds everyone he’s still the top contender in the division.
