Zhang vs. Lemos
Weili Zhang, TKO, R2
Why do I feel like this title fight is so dead in terms build-up.
I barely hear anyone hyping this fight in the media as Amanda Lemos stock as a legitimate challenger really dropped after the sub loss to Jessica. Have she won that fight there definitely would have been more hype for this bout unfortunately this is probably one of the least interesting title bouts in recent times.

With that being said I went to check what Lemos is good at as I would be lying if I said I knew her fighting style. So I did some research to figure out what skills she possessed in order to become a champion and what I found was a hard hitter that can give anyone problems on the feet. She has the most knockdowns and knockdown average in WMMA history and has an over 80% takedown defense. She has the shortest average fight time of just over 7 minutes which means that come championship rounds she will have questions to answer.

With all that stats she has yet to face a fighter on the same level as Zhang. She lost to the only former title holder in Jessica and her best win is probably her stoppage of Marina Rodriguez but some could argue that Marina has been on a little decline as of late however that should still not take anything away from Lemos win.

I just feel as though Zhang possesses more skills to cause issues for Lemos the Joanna fight is a perfect example of how she can handle elite strikers she was able to get Joanna down and make her not just worry about the stand up but the takedown too. So if Jessica could cause problems for her in the grappling department the thought of what Zhang could do is the main reason why I have Zhange winning this fight.

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 605 Points   |   Tied for 1934th

Rodrigues vs. Tiuliulin
Gregory Rodrigues, TKO, R1
I don't think Rodrigues is good its just Tiuliulin isnt UFC level he lost a lot to cans he's never lasted 3 rounds in the UFC he's only win in the UFC was Jamie pickett who we all know isn't UFC level Tuiliulin has beaten who he's supposed to & he didnt run through those people Sorry Denis probably a nice guy but not a UFC fighter!

Holobaugh vs. Hubbard
Kurt Holobaugh, TKO, R2
Hubbard lost his last TUF fight, Rosevelt roberts got robbed on the otherhand Kurt looked amazing his last TUF fight, Kurt is patient wont get hit while dishing out hits & has learned a lot since his UFC days. Hubbard is gonna try to pressure Holobaugh and get caught with a counter KO

Gibson vs. Katona
Cody Gibson, DEC
Don't watch TUF but had to watch the 4 fighters on the card. Katona is giving up a lot of size but he is the better fighter he just gets hit too much and that wont work against Gibson Connor not being there or even in Katona's corner is gonna play an effect on him as silly as it may sound Katona went into this fight expecting too have his coach there & already has a lot against him.

Meerschaert vs. Petroski
Andre Petroski, SUB, R2
GM3 just has too much against him in this fight. Petroski needs to wrestle and manhandle GM3, Petroski can strike but his strong suit is the Takedown and that is his Path to victory here. Petroski can either take GM3 down find a sub or Grind out a boring 15 min Decision. But if Petroski decides to stand for 15 mins GM3's chin is very suspectable, one cross down the pipe and GM3 is down. The only way Petroski loses this fight is his fight IQ if he hunts for a KO for 3 rounds which will lead to him getting hit a lot. Hail Mary situation for GM3 I think this is one of his last fights

Lee vs. Silva
Natália Silva, TKO, R2
Silva is a high level fighter, she can strike she has KO ability & can also mix in some takedowns. Silva has the Skill , Age & Style Advantage. Lee is no slouch though people forget she took Maycee Barber to a split had Barber on her back. This wont be the case here though Lee is gonna gas hunting for a takedown and getting Burtally KO'd

Moroz vs. Silva
Maryna Moroz, DEC
Moroz is a good well rounded fighter Silva is a Finish R1 fighter or bust, we just don't know her past the 1st round and how her cardio is Silva's only path to victory is a Sub which I don't think she finds against Moroz. Silva hasn't fought the competition Moroz has, Silva is gonna hunt for a finish Gas and lose the fight

Magny vs. Machado Garry
Ian Machado Garry, TKO, R2
Wouldn't be surprised if Magny pulls out a decision since he's known for grinding out decisions

Bautista vs. Blackshear
Mario Bautista, SUB, R2
Would have more confidence in Blackshear if he didn't just cut weight a week ago

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 450 Points   |   Tied for 4341st

Sterling vs. O'Malley
Aljamain Sterling, DEC
I'm one of the many Sterling haters out there and I'm convinced that if he decided to keep fighting after that knee Merab would likely be champ right now not his best friend Aljo. But I do have to admit Aljo's wrestling will be his path to victory.

Zhang vs. Lemos
Weili Zhang, DEC
This is gonna be a banger. Lemos is a killer and can win however she wants but Zhang is hard to finish. This will be a great fight, but Lemos will likely gas and Zhang will win a decision.

Magny vs. Machado Garry
Neil Magny, DEC
Nobody's ready to see a boring Magny clinchfest but it's going to happen. Magny will win by UD.

Vera vs. Munhoz
Marlon Vera, DEC
Munhoz is gonna take a lot of punishment in this fight. The guy's got a chin even at 36. Even against a guy like Marlon who has some really good wins by finish, but I don't see this ending inside the distance.

Rodrigues vs. Tiuliulin
Gregory Rodrigues, TKO, R1
This fight should be a barnburner...for about 3 minutes.

Gibson vs. Katona
Brad Katona, DEC
First ever 2 time TUF winner.

Meerschaert vs. Petroski
Gerald Meerschaert, SUB, R1
Big fan of Petroski but he's not gonna be able to hang with a guy like GM3 on the mat.

Moroz vs. Silva
Maryna Moroz, DEC
Silva looks like a beast but Moroz has some really good wins on her resume. Moroz should be able to survive some early trouble and get a UD win.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 565 Points   |   Tied for 2631st

Sterling vs. O'Malley
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R2
Low Confidence - Someone is getting finished.

Zhang vs. Lemos
Weili Zhang, SUB, R3
Medium Confidence - Zhang the better fighter all around but Lemos hits hard.

Magny vs. Machado Garry
Ian Machado Garry, TKO, R3
High Confidence - I’m sick of listening to this guy already but he should win ITD.

Bautista vs. Blackshear
Mario Bautista, SUB, R3
High Confidence - Da’mon has cardio issues as it is and he’s doing 2 big weight cuts close together.

Vera vs. Munhoz
Pedro Munhoz, DEC
Zero Confidence - Vera is a slow starter but finishes strong. Vera hits harder but Munhoz will be the minute winner.

Weidman vs. Tavares
Brad Tavares, TKO, R3
High Confidence - Weedman was done years ago, not even taking into account his injury / layoff / age. Question is wether Tavares can get a finish.

Rodrigues vs. Tiuliulin
Gregory Rodrigues, SUB, R1
High Confidence - on the feet this is anyone’s fight but on the ground it’s all RoboCop.

Holobaugh vs. Hubbard
Austin Hubbard, DEC
Medium Confidence - Hubbard plays it safe. Kurt is scrappy though.

Gibson vs. Katona
Brad Katona, DEC
High Confidence - Katona will play it safe and handily win.

Meerschaert vs. Petroski
Andre Petroski, TKO, R3
Medium confidence - I think Petrovski looks for a KO/TKO like his teammate did, but Gerald is always live for a sub.

Lee vs. Silva
Natália Silva, DEC
Low Confidence - I think this will be much closer than the odds suggest.

Moroz vs. Silva
Maryna Moroz, SUB, R3
Low Confidence - I like Moroz to get a late finish over a tired Silva, who has only seen the 3rd round twice in her career (she lost both times).

Looking like a dog card big time. Some of these odds are bananas. GM3, Tiuliulin, Weidman and Munhoz are all fighters with a realistic path to victory. Neil Magny is the only greater than 2 to 1 dog that I think has no shot.
