Feel like people are only picking Mackenzie because she’s semi hot.. Angela has improved her takedown defense and will out volume her for 3 rounds on the feet with ease.

well you're not going to really ever exterminate toxicity on any website, but especially on a forum relating to combat sports lol. you can start by banning people who use those vulgar ad hominems that you speak of, because that's pretty black and white; but the narcissism and low-quality posts are much more muddy. I'd argue it's completely subjective. and it wouldn't be that great of a site if people could get banned for saying things the mods disagree with or think are stupid, would it? it's the price you pay for liberty

I think people are picking Dern because she's elite in *some* categories, whereas Hill is like a 6/10 but in all categories. If Dern weren't so lopsided skill-wise it wouldnt even be close. But I'm guessing Hill being so well rounded, she'll win a decision that we all regret watching.

But imagine if you could take 10% of Dern's BJJ skills and send it to open mat takedowns or striking.

I'm truly amazed at how easy it is for one user to completely stifle discussion in this forum with a few room temperature IQ posts. 

This will be a consistent problem until 95% of the regulars here just learn to stop taking obvious bait.

@Erison I'll agree that Fluffy doesn't have huge power, but he does have very good hand speed and good swarms. I think he's going to get there first, at least in the boxing department. He's got good inside boxing. Look at what he did to wright.

We'll have to see if Edmen has levelled up.

For the record, I don't hate a bet on Edmen here. You could argue it's dog or pass.

Yeah I dont hate Edmen at +200 or even maybe Edmen by KO when that prop opens up. But everything I'm saying about that matchup has a billion asterisks that are gonna go off the theory that Edmen is still improving as a 25 year old prospect, and that those three brutal losses didnt take years off his life. Neither of which is a guarantee.

@el it's a fair point, but if people get the liberty to be toxic narcissists I want the liberty to humiliate them...which currently, I don't get lol. Greg has suspended before for embarrassing Baremaras. I hadn't even got started TBH but he seems to be a protected species even in Misc.

Hill is 0-11 against fighter that are  top in this division, Why would I pick her to beat another elite fighter when she 0-11 agaist them, I'll stupid to do so

Cmon now. You dont have to juke the numbers to be skeptical of Hill. She's not 0-11 against the top. Those wins over Loopy, Lookboonme, Ducote, Yoder, Carnelossi, Cifers are good wins. And then she won like 6 or 7 of the 11 you're talking about.

Loopy and Lookboome are good, But not elite win, All the rest aren't  good honestly, I rate her Moroz win higher then the rest you listed,  She is 3-11 against good fighter, Also Cifer and Yoder aren't good lol

And you can argue robbery, But if you bet Hill to win the 11 fights I listed you would of lost money, The judges might rob her again

Not sure it helps a fight breakdown to think of it in gambling terms like that. If we agree a lot of the decisions were bad, it doesnt really help moving forward to be talking about her record "against the spread" or whatever. 

And you're not gonna catch me saying Hannah Cifers is "elite" but you're drawing some pretty arbitrary lines here. To get to your 0-11 against the top number, you'd have to be calling The Karate Hottie the "top". Which for the sake of argument is fine, but then to turn around and split hairs is silly. We're talking about the mid of the mid either way.

Angela's win over Loopy was a "bad" win over a good fighter, in a manner of speaking. Loopy didn't' fight smart against her so it didn't make me high on Hill. Or maybe Hill frustrated her and drew that out of her? Either way I'm not sold on Hill, but she did survive against Virna when she got taken down and Dern is less likely to be able to do that.
